It's amazing how much this thread grew. The thread has nearly doubled in size since my first post less than a year ago. I got some things to do in my ISO to rebalance some role ideas, and I'm also gonna try to add some not so wicked overpowered roles to the setup; let's strive to improve this thread to offer a slightly more reasonable setup.

Usage:
The moderator should flip 8 coins. Alternatively, one can just use the dice tag with 8d2. If the coin lands on heads (or the die result is 1), then day talk (for ALL private threads including factional threads) is allowed for that day. If the coin flips tails (or the die result is 2), then day talk is disallowed for that day.

Restrictions:
You must hide each night.
Usage:
Choose a player to target. Regardless of their alignment, you will hide with them. Actions performed on your target are also performed on you. Any direct actions performed on your slot will fail.
Additional Info:
You're on the run from the law! While you are alive, all lynchers are trying to lynch you (they will be assigned a new target if you are nightkilled.) In addition, if you are ever role-investigated (Cop, Role Cop, Gunsmith, etc.), you will immediately commit suicide for being caught.

Restrictions:
Vote Amplifier: Once per game.
Usage:
Triplet Voter: You possess 3 votes, each worth 1/3 a vote each. It may be possible to hammer multiple wagons with this ability.
Usage:
Vote Amplifier: While active, all voters who possess multiple votes worth less than 1 vote each have their votes become full votes. Ex: You become a triplevoter!

Moderator Notes:
Usage:
Triplet Voter: Do not round lynching thresholds; the player counts as possessing a single vote for threshold purposes.
Usage:
Vote Amplifier: When this ability is active, all fractional voters count as having a vote weight of 1. The voting threshold should not otherwise be modified. Callforjudgement's "Fractional Voter" role cannot be used to hammer a player unless the player has zero votes on that player beforehand albeit each vote is counted as a full vote and can put a player at L-1. No role may single-handedly hammer a player; the lynch threshold for that player will temporary change in that case.

Re: the previous post, a 2p game needs 2 votes to lynch via normal thresholds, so 1½ wouldn't be enough. Or would you use a lynch threshold of "half the players + ½" in a game where half-votes existed?
I'm gonna put that at moderator discretion and setup dependent.

My basic rules would be:

1. If there are no special voting abilities (aka, all single voters), then lynch = floor( 50% of Players ) + 1.
2. If there are no partial votes (aka, all votes are in increments of 1) and no special voting threshold rules, then lynch = floor( 50% of Total Vote Weight ) + 1.
3. If there are special voting thresholds (which all of my split-voters have (unless I haven't editted them yet)), and those special thresholds involve fractions (over 1 doesn't count!) when calculating thresholds, then lynch = 50% of Total Vote Weight. (Ex: A doublet voter only counts as possessing 1/2 a vote for the voting threshold. In a 5p game with 1 doublet voter and 4 single voters, the lynch threshold is 1/2 * (1/2 + 4) or 9/4 (2.25). This is to allow split voters to be able to hammer multiple wagons without lowering the lynch threshold for everyone else.)
4. If none of the above apply (as in your question with the 1 and a half voter), then it is up to moderator discretion. (Although in that case, it may be better to endgame the One-and-a-half voter.)

A fifth option is to do blind weights and simply set the HAMMER threshold at floor( 50% Players ) + 1. The player lynched is the player with the highest voting weight at the time of the hammer (or maybe you'll use different rules!)

Town Echoer


Usage:
Each night, choose a target. That player will have their night action copied infinitely many times, with all the actions being identical (same target, etc.).

Examples:
The moderator works out what the effect of that would be. (For example, a Vigilante would break through any X-shot Bulletproof protection as they'd be able to take more than X shots; a Cop would get a result along the lines of "You get infinitely many reports, each of which says player Y is town"; a Doctor would give someone unbreakable protection for the night as they'd necessarily be protected more times than they were shot.)

Moderator Notes:
Usage:
If there are somehow two Echoers (or the Echo ability gets copied), assume that all echoed night actions are copied the same number of times and take a limit as that number tends to infinity, to avoid the mathematical issues with working out what ∞-∞ is.

Usage:
After every hammer is a fixed 24 hour twilight period where all may continue to chat including the hammered player. The flip occurs at the end of this Twilight Extension phase. Twilight may be ended early with unanimous consent from all living players.

Delayed Alignment Modified Universal Backup


Receives the full role (including the alignment) of the first person to die. If multiple people resolve as dying first, use the player list order to resolve.

Otherwise functions as a Neutral Survivor.

Diplomat


Uses the first win con that applies to the setup.
Mods are instructed to provide all win cons in the role pm and to avoid telling the player which one applies. Aka, it's like a closed win con! You may want to include this notice in the role pm.


Win: You win with the Peacemaker. You must attempt to force all factions to avoid any kills/lynches (that succeed) for a total of 3 consecutive phases. This can be Night, Day, Night or Day, Night, Day.


Win: You win with the Self-Aligned Neutral Rebalancer! Please note that the Self-Aligned Neitral Rebalancer does not know this. You win when all factions (each Diplomat counts as a separate faction) are reduced to one player. You automatically lose if any faction is completely eliminated. The Self-Aligned Neutral Rebalancer and any third party factions are counted as separate factions (if multiple exist). The cult counts as a single faction. If you lose, you become a kingmaker in the game.


Win: All neutral survivors become a single faction. You are a part of that faction (as are any other diplomats). No neutral survivors will be informed of this changed win con, but you win if
All
of you survive to D3 and **you** or another diplomat survives to LyLo.


(If there are multiple Diplomats)
You, as are any other Diplomat, is allied with the town. You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.


(If there is a single Diplomat)
You are effectively a neutral survivor. You win if you are the only player remaining. If the game ever reaches a "would-be" Happily Ever After outcome, you win instead.


Each night, you may use
1
of your active abilities:

Diplomatic Relations
- Each night, you may use your diplomcy skills to form a neighborhood with 2 players. Mods are instructed to generate new neighborhood threads each time this power is used unless the player requests otherwise.

Diplomatic Persuasion
- You may attempt to convince a player to not vote each night. This ability cannot be roleblocked, but if the player you target is killed, you die too unless a doctor saves **you**.

1-Shot Role Cop
- As a diplomat, you can be very persuading at times. You may on a single night investigate a player. If you succeed, you will learn the alignment and role of the targeted player, free from any meddling abilities such as miller. You may also use this ability on yourself: if you aren't roleblocked, you will learn your true win condition.

Friendly Diplomat
- You may, once a night, have the mod confirm to another player that you are a diplomat. Your win con will not be revealed.

You also have two passive abilities: 1-Shot BP and 1-Shot Lynchproof.

Finally, when investigated, you show up as
Peaceful
and "Not Guilty" to any weapon inspections. (You appear guilty to anyone who investigates SK/Not SK).

Instead of performing the regular gun night kill, you will instead poison your target when performing the factional night kill. The target dies at the start of the day 2 cycles from now. (Eg: If it's night 1, the target dies Day 3.) Your target will not be informed that they were poisoned. You appear innocent to normal role investigations (cop, seer, etc.; does not apply to rolecops or tracking investigatives.)[/b]

If you are lynched due to another role manipulating the lynch mechanic (e.g.: kingmaker but excludes things like doublevoter and hated), the manipulator is killed in addition to your lynch. See also Hero (first paragraph of variants).

X-Shot Reroll


Roll a 1d5 to determine the number of shots the roll possesses. Then reroll; the player now possesses that role with the X-Shot limitation.

If the role makes no sense with the X-Shot limitation, nothing changes to that role but the role still flips with the X-Shot modifier. (Eg: VT --> Flips something like 2-Shot Vanilla Townie). (In essence, the role is a named variant.)

If the role already possesses an X-Shot modifier, then the rolled value replaces the pre-existing x-shot value.

What's to prevent the player sending in a nightkill on their last remaining scumbuddy at the last moment of the night? In order to make a role like this work, you normally need to give the last remaining scum a chance to vengekill them, winning the game if they're right, but then the setup has to be based around it so that things make sense if they die for an unrelated reason.
I added a rule that if there is only 1 scum remaining, the traitor automatically exits the game.

You will survive the first 5 kills performed on you. Kill is defined as being anything except modkills and lynches. (This may be changed dependent on the setup, but the bulletproof SHOULD protect against vigilante, mafia, werewolf, and serial killer kills minimum.)

Each night, you may attempt to poison a player. If successful, the poisoned player will die at the start of the day at least one complete cycle from now.

(Eg: Night 2 poison --> dies at start of day 4.
Day 2 poison --> Dies at start of day 3.)

Tracker - Target a player to learn who they targeted.
Watcher - Target a player to learn who targeted them.
Follower - Target a player to learn what types of actions they performed.
Voyeur - Target a player to learn what types of actions were performed on them.
Motion Detector - Target a player to learn if they were targeted by someone or targeted someone (binary results only: motion/no motion).
