The mod tried his best I'm sure but there were a lot of mistakes. I don't think that was what killed the game though. It was more of an apathy thing.

I think a lot of people got a bad impression of my townplay from this game. I'd like to think I'm not that bad; I just find it hard to imitate myself as scum so I just tried to hang around pushing people that I may have pushed as town on a raw evaluation of how scummy I thought they were.
In the endgame, QR pushed on me for the tone of my push on them; I think it was a post I would've made as town (i.e more characteristic of me than my alignment.) Of course, I can't know for certain, and QR did a good job on being the only one onto me at the end- I think, at least. I was generally pretty happy with how townread I was.

Hi. You've probably noticed that I have been advocating for game abandonment in the thread. That's genuine; and I would like to officially request it by PM.
There's no point in playing this game for me. Town are willing to lynch whoever. Why should I try to win the game when there are no challenges in my way? Nobody wants to catch scum. Nobody can be manipulated into townreading me. Flairs is MIA and Kop may as well be. The game is dead. The townies don't want to play it. If they did, I could play it for them. But they hate it just as much. They're willing to lynch a replacing slot for nothing but apathy. I don't want to play it, because nobody wants to catch me.
Really, I just want the game to end, so that I don't have to spend weeks grinding out a win that was secured a long, long time ago. I understand this may be a hard decision to make as a mod. But at some point you have to ask the question, "If nobody's enjoying it, why are we still playing?"
Of course, the decision of whether to ask the main thread is completely your own, and thanks for reading this whatever you decide

you probably couldn't get all replacements in for like over a week in this game though lol. another reason why it was right to abandon it.

honestly in this game it'd probably just be the ideal outcome to say "slots are inactive, the people who are playing aren't enjoying the game, some want to be lynched, we can't find replacements, let's call the game here" which is what ended up happening \o/
