Desp hasn't really scum hunted this game and is voting Danny for his reaction alone which is bad. He's literally done nothing else of value. You can only gauge reactions if you know a person well enough which I doubt he does.

A small part of me thinks that Vecna would have played things a bit more smooth here if he was scum and not have gotten himself in the predicament that he's in.

A big part me however feels like fake claiming there was classic frustration due to the feeling(s) of being caught for the wrong reasons. As we all know, there was zero town motivation for that move. Literally none. He already had a read on Vax and a pretty strong one at that given the scum read he expressed through actions and verbally. Vecna wanting and/or needing to reassess his read there so early though emotion is odd and I just don't see town giving someone they scum read a chance to ATE their way out of a wagon. It seems like he was just banking on getting some sort of claim to make it easier for his partners during the night.
