Alright, so what I'm getting here is that the cop should just claim regardless, right?

If they've got a guilty, then we've already got a lynch down.
If they've got an inno, then the potential players to be scum goes way down.
If scum tries to kill them, Witch can redirect it, guaranteeing us at LEAST one more result.

I don't really see a downside there.

I believe that Mafia must also have PRs to balance us out.

While I admit this is a weak point, seeing as I didn't think of it either, I think you're too good a player not to consider the possibility of scum PRs, and pushed for the massclaim so you wouldn't waste those PRs on VTs.

I'm not going to claim my target, and neither should UT.

Reason being that if I were scum and the gunner announced they'd be targetting scum, I actually WOULD set them as the kill, hoping the witch would redirect the kill to avoid two deaths and hit a VT instead.

Of course, that can be WIFOMed infinitely, so I'd prefer just not to mess with it in the first place.

Maybe if the witch were 3P, which would discourage massclaiming, it wouldn't be so heavy on N0.

Witch still wants to help Town at first, because if it's only witch and scum left, scum knows who the witch is. But they also don't wanna just claim because then as soon as the last scum is lynched, Town gets the Witch.

I do really like this concept, I just wish it were a bit more involved than lynch/kill all the vanilla claims. I feel like a lot of my issues this game have just been overthinking it.
