It's -only- 15 gold which seems pretty cheap to me

And we can let the gnomes ride in it

I can contribute 5-7 gold to it (or sell stuff)

I changed my class from paladin to barbarian; I hope this doesn't UPSET anybody

edit: and this class starts with less gold so I now have 2 gp and hide armor and no manacles

I like this better though, plays better to my strengths and I can get rid of useless stats like intelligence, wisdom and charisma

I was told that power attack isn't good early so you can always get it later

as for combat reflexes I took it myself and it's supposedly good with ranged; it's based on dex though so you'd -only- get 1 additional attack of opportunity

Firebringer you can armor up growlithe but it costs double human armor price
also it doesn't have to adhere to druid regulations

Also I recommend doing that and armoring up growlithe, possibly with cheap leather or hide (and you can change to leather yourself?)

firebringer friend

imagine if instead of studded leather you used regular leather and you equipped growlithe with hide (x2 cost)

Also you need to set up your skills

I did this!
I had to drop some of my stuff, and now I am at like 4gp, but I did it!

Also how do I do skills? Like I updated it with the modifiers I have for my feats, but how many ranks can I put in to start for any skill I want?

Did my spells for the day too.
I am being healer today boiz.

Edit: Did my skills, even put points into healing since I might be doing that quite a bit this game >.>
WE SHALL SEE!
I think that makes my character sheet 100% done? I should ask FG if theres anything else that I need to do, but I think its good.

Alright I'm looking over your sheets:

Growlithe does not move at base speed in hide armor (medium armor slows down) he still moves faster than the party and it's cost efficient armor (he moves at 35 or 40 ft with it on I don't remember)
Your bed roll should weigh 5 lbs
Your 5 meals weigh 4 pounds (one of these numbers is wrong)
I don't think you start with sylvan for free - you don't have an int bonus (you start with druidic)
Some of your skills have a +6 modifier before you put points into it - I'm not sure why it's +6?

Better rp gosh, just like you're a half-orc!

also having 12 charisma is needed to use level 1 spells (the dragon disciple gets a bonus to number of spells so it's something)
and the minimum I'd need is 10

So with 14 points in charisma I get:

+2 to all saving throws (more valuable than a feet though there's 2 extra points into charisma)
smite evil - pretty ok but if I'm not leveling paladin it won't scale that well
detect evil - probably really good to have
immunity to diseases - ??? probably pretty useful
a heal that ends up maxing out at 8 hp per day - OK I guess
Immune to fear (and a small aura for others to resist fear a bit)

turn undead - as if I were a level 1 cleric, probably useless? I can do it 5 times a day though
Aura of good - I don't know if this does anything good but it's THEMATICALLY cool
Spells - not getting them

Do animals like growlithe get a penalty for not having an armor proficiency? (it didn't matter in the end rip)

Also is this feat: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsterFeats.htm#multiattack

It's a swashbuckler class feature

You also get weapon finesse for free at level 1

So neither of you had really planned for this style

it's what I would do if I were a rogue though

earliest you can get the feat is level 4 (so really 6 when you get the feat)

Spoiler: Knowledge on nyctars
Image
Nyctars are generally friendly
Nyctars like gifts of light, including magical ones (thinking sunrods)
Trevil was confident that the Nyctars didn't know of the flowers or their value

Spoiler: Also we know this:
The flower can be detected with detect magic if it's bloomed
The trolls are more fragile than usual.
The trolls must be finished off with fire or acid
Diplomacy may be useful in dealing with trolls

They weren't crits

They were both near max damage

That's the second encounter, I arrived right after you left I think and we fought another thing that hit us all for 19 damage right away (we used the potion of moderate wounds as well)

and then it rammed into me and I failed two will saves and was panicked and had to run away for that round

Well I'd like the trollbane sword or the shock greataxe............

I'm thinking the chain shirt goes on fiona (she has the strength for it, and it's +1 defense as well)

The wand of foxing cunning can only be used by fiona in our party so she gets that too

Not sure on any of the scrolls right now, cat's grace is dex though so fiona will hold that as well

The MWK silver dagger we should keep and achan can have it as a backup or something

I've been theory crafting another character to bring in if I were to die

I made it level 4 because I'm cocky but not too cocky

It is currently planned at Barbarian 1/Human Paragon 3 with plans to go for fighter for the rest

As for the character design, I know that they will dislike arcane spellcasters and be cocky and probably some form of chaotic (real chaotic, not Rose chaotic)

Please look forward to it (because I'm cocky but not too cocky)

Oh and it doesn't have any gear currently

Uh the bear is a black bear

And it's medium sized and an omnivore

Sorry if I got your hopes up (though you can still get it if you want, I don't think it's hp or ac are too good either unfortunately)

Here's the base creatures to choose from: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/druid.htm

IF you get to level 7 there's a much better looking brown bear that can grapple as a free action after attacking and is large sized and has a boatload of hp

Also it weighs around 1,800 pounds

Here are the bears I'm looking at for druids:

Black (level 4): http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/bearBlack.htm

Brown (level 7): http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/bearBrown.htm

Keep in mind the brown bear would be -6 levels and I'm not quite sure what that means. Also it's quite off in the distance. I think it's what you'd be thinking of for a bear though

Would it be annoying or helpful if I had rage/devotion "timers" (symbols with numbers) on Sigma's token?

It sounds like people have a problem with sigma being too strong?

What are you saying Maria

Would you like if Sigma were left behind is raintree and a wizard or scout joined the party

SO hey guys, my backup character is coming along NICELY, though I've got a feat slot open from human paragon (I'll show you guys what it means to be a HUMAN *dies in 1 session*)

So I've been kind of wondering what I'd take in that slot and I've kind of narrowed it down to 3 choices. Do I want to take the Run feat so I can run as fast as Postie ran away from her companions; the Arterial Strike feat so I can backstab enemies like Ether backstabbed the group by leaving them to fend for themselves; or the Stealthy feat so I can disappear like Giga did?

Raia is at 3300 exp - is there a way for her to get some extra exp or something to catch up to some of the rest of the party? (Sedgar has 5000, Fiona has 4900, Sigma has 5900, rest are level 4 I believe)

repair light damage wand of course

otherwise it would be wise to get an extra clw wand

I see there were 4 wands, what if we bought all of them instead of waiting an additional day?

"You can create a scroll of any spell that you know."

Doesn't say anything about cleric spells. Enlarge person is a spell you know

You can enlarge sedgar too now but it won't work on sigma (has to be humanoid)

I'd be interested. Maybe not this week though, I'm unconscious and you guys still have stuff to talk about artkey without me

I plan on doing some rping during next session with that

Do you feel like you're not invested in your character because you haven't rp'd with him like you did earlier? It looks like you fleshed out your backstory etc

To clarify what I meant at the jail; I wanted to slice open two bars at the bottom so it was big enough for the bag of holding to fit through but not necessarily big enough for a person, and that's also why I borrowed a dagger to make a clean cut vs a large axe
