If they're gonna win 4, I can see them beating the Chargers and winning one of their games against the Bills, and then

winning 2 of either the Dolphins, Browns or Jags.

I don't see them driving that tank to anything more than 2-14.

at least one of Miami or Buffalo has to miss the playoffs after a heartbreaking end of season loss to a team they were supposed to beat. So I'd say they beat whoever in division they play last that isn't the Pats

They weren't getting in the playoffs anyway but...

Cutler with Gase isn't worst case.

The Dolphins were a play-off team last year, and although they had a woeful start, they went 9-2 over the last 11 games to finish 10-6. Tannehill was playing good football as he settled in to Gase's offence, and he's clearly better than Cutler. They didn't have any major losses in free agency, and they added some good parts (particularly Julius Thomas). I had them making the play-offs as a wildcard again. Not now.

I like fantasy football when you have active coaches. I am tired of signing up for Yahoo or ESPN leagues and the coaches don't show up for draft or quit after a couple weeks.

Lol, I'm gonna get beat with 10 most likely, anyway. I'd rather at least enjoy myself instead of having to claw and scrape on the waiver wire to have a functional lineup if some gets injured.

There are 32 NFL teams, I don't see how an 8 team FF league is needed for a "functional lineup." I've been in 16 team FF leagues and they can be quite enjoyable.

10. 10 is fine. 10 is STANDARD. 12 is a crowd. I'd man, I don't like having to be up at 5am on wedsendays after waivers ends to catch things. I like doing it at my leisure. 12 is crowded and is a chore to research that deep. Let's use QB's as an example. Somewhere between 12-24 qbs are going to be on rosters the entire year, depending on how many people stock a back up (normally it's about 7or 8 people) if you have to go to the wire on a qb. You're basically streaming a bunch of bottom league shittos, and best case you are a qb roster filler, but have one less back up for the other spots that are extra deep.

Rb takes it even further. There are 32 starters, with a handful of guys in split backfields. 12 teams x 2 starters is 24, add the 2 backups or so per team, you're wrestling with 12 dudes that need 48 guys with only 32 spots of getting a guy who's a starter.

I'd every time I run a 12, it's half as fun and twice as time consuming.

It's just alarming to be in a league where (based on an eight-man league) Marcus Mariota is a backup QB, the average team puts a player like Marshawn Lynch or Frank Gore or Larry Fitzgerald or Michael Crabtree on the bench. When every team has an elite or close-to-elite player at every position, there's no sense of having to prioritize, or strategize much in the draft, or have to look hard on the waiver wire.

You need to have some flexibility though. There's not that much of a difference between 12 and 10.

Rather flex downward than upward. 12 is awful.
