Happy they changed revenge-echo interaction.
And it's still happily dumb. It was broken before, yeah (and I don't think that was intentional anyway?)

yeah from playing elysian midrange a ton before set 2 came out: obelisk is your best or your worst card. In a midrange matchup it's king, against an aggro deck it's a loss of tempo that you can't afford until you in practice already have a winning boardstate. Against (feln) control: it does still need creatures to work.

So imo there's some wisdom to twie's comment, either you run all or your run none, I think. Against midrange, or even the mirror, you'll want all. Against the rest, you could do with none. Take 2 or 3 and you won't get the benefit when you need it, and still have a minor downside when you don't.

alright, I've piloted a couple of decks to master each season now. Two even p much of my own making. Don't have a clue how big of an achievement that is but w/e. I'm happy.

Draft however, is a completely different story and it's starting to become a frustration. It's been ages since I've had a decent run that actually provides gains. I don't think it's the amount of power in decks, I tend to somewhat calculate how much I need, I suspect it's not the play on the board though I do make more mistakes with decks I'm not as familiar with. Which leaves archetypes and actual cards drafted: and I don't have a clue there, I must admit. Any pointers?

Spoiler: valkerie-flyers
3 Finest Hour (Set1 #130)
4 Permafrost (Set1 #193)
3 Seek Power (Set1 #408)
2 Bring Down (Set2 #217)
4 Eager Owlet (Set1 #144)
4 Stalwart Silverwing (Set2 #72)
2 Talon Dive (Set2 #112)
3 Vanquish (Set1 #143)
3 Eilyn's Choice (Set2 #220)
4 Loyal Watchwing (Set1 #150)
3 Skyrider Vanguard (Set2 #120)
4 Valkyrie Enforcer (Set1 #151)
4 Shelterwing Rider (Set2 #223)
4 Valkyrie Spireguard (Set2 #90)
2 Windshaper (Set1 #230)
1 Pearlescent Drake (Set2 #127)
9 Justice Sigil (Set1 #126)
4 Primal Sigil (Set1 #187)
4 Cobalt Monument (Set1 #418)
4 Hooru Banner (Set2 #216)
4 Seat of Order (Set0 #51)

Currently fiddling around with this. Probably ~5th or 6th version by now, but I'm starting to feel ok about it. I'd love to have a second pearlescent drake to top it off, but I need to find a little more shiftstone for that. Otherwise the idea is to have a decently up tempo flyers list with key cards shelterwing rider, eager owl and spireguard to win before my opponent does :) Do people have comments/criticisms?
