I think this is meaningful enough to do sometimes, because of the way it sets up a 2v2v2 dynamic in the real starting tribes. I think that's something interesting that it can add.In post 39, xRECKONERx wrote:#1- I don't think we need the 24 hour starter-but-just-kidding period in games anymore. If we're gonna set a start time for games, then start the game at those times, I think. It has gotten to the point where I think it has lost its "surprise" factor and the issue it was trying to correct isn't really prevalent anymore

Returning players that we aren't told about is kind of bastard. Yeah, some people managed to guess it, but like when Monty was like "I think there are returning players" we were all like "oh no there definitely won't be he's crazy"
i figured there was a good chance he was right just because i couldn't otherwise explain why hannibal was online so much"I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener- Cephrir

I'll have more to say when I get home and this kind of dovetails into an essay I have planned for the other thread, but this community UNDERvalues challenge performance to a ridiculous extent and this was a direct challenge to that.PLUS...doing well in challenges already rewards you with immunity. Why are we overvaluing challenge performance even more?
