The new Starfinder game from Paizo came out last week. Has anyone checked it out, played it, etc? What do you think?

If you don't know what Starfinder is...it is basically Pathfinder in space. It is set in the far future of the main Pathfinder setting, where the core races have spread out into the galaxy, and the Gods just kinda shrug at the universe. A lot of the core Pathfinder mechanics are retained in terms of gameplay, but looking through they've updated a lot of things too. I've always been a fan of Pathfinder, so I was eagerly waiting for this. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, since I don't know anyone else who picked it up. Nor have I finished reading through the entire book. I started with Chapter 12 (the Lore) and now am working my way through races and classes.

I tested out the introduction adventure with my friends. I really like it. It simplified Pathfinder in some ways, but everything we've encountered is pretty polished. CMB and CMD are gone, which I think is a great change.

Many people worked hard on this game that has infinite replay value, so the least you can do if you want to play is drop 10 bucks on the PDF.

I might be willing to run the sample campaign once the election has passed.

No, the tutorial Starfinder Society module.

I'd play too if someone DMed.
