Titles have always been low priority and sporatic. They are a pain in the butt, so I don't do them often. Maybe 3x per year...

On a completely unrelated note, what would people think about a List of Titles wiki page? It would contain a list of all assigned titles with some sort of short explanation for each.

to be blue!" She was "famous" for posting in blue text only. When she requested the title here. I changed it and made it blue.

Similar to when The Shadow joined and I almost had to make his title "knows", I had an almost uncotrollable urge to make xyzzy's title "Nothing Happens."

Macros: Macros made constant references to random hobos. If I had had more time a couple years ago and if Flay had been around to make the theme, it's possible that instead of a tiger attack this year, there could have been a hobo attack a couple years ago. The topics should still be around, I think it was post-crash.

It's from the original Adventure (aka Colossal Cave) from like the late 70's. If you say XYZZY (magic word) often the response is that nothing happens.

Well, if you say it in the correct place you teleport. xyzzy has been incorporated into other games and programs. If you say it in the wrong spot, you get "Nothing happens" but sometimes it does something. I'd try to type it into various adventure games when I was into them just to see if it was ever useful. I had totally forgotten about it until Kingdom of Loathing, though.

And blahgo, it's not a barter system. It's a nomination system. The title fairy has sole power to give titles (well, excepting mith). If everyone on the site supports a title and mith and the title fairy decide to NOT give the title... it doesn't get given. So there is no room for support.

Avatars, like signatures, can be turned off by the user. Titles, location, etc, cannot.

Titles do not belong to individuals, they are assigned to them by the community and require approval of the title fairy or mith.

phpBB has a language censor. I think I can make it possible to enable/disable it per user. I don't think it works on titles, though- only sigs and message text. I'll bring it up with mith.
