Something like that does seem pretty likely, as even-night vig is an otherwise insanely powerful scum role when they have an already favorable win-con.

I actually think grapes had the bussy-est looking vote of all, and would like to see him on the lynch-eriffic shortlist. I'm not sure what makes him super town to everyone, though maybe I missed something.

I wanted the warrant on him because I was pretty sure he wouldn't be lynched or NK'ed, and would be likely enough to be making kills for the scumteam that he'd have more coke than he should on N2 if scum, while a coke count of 0 or 1 would likely indicate innocence.

Elli-scum wouldn't be patting himself on the back in such a ham-fisted way, and would have articulated far better reasons for wick-scum if he had aimed to bus. Bussing such a powerful role is a little crazy in itself.

Something is wrong with FireBringer. He knew the judge existed at game start, so he either is the judge or requires a judge to approve his action, yet he claims he checked me in some way. I would assume he issued a request to check me, but I would try to press him on that to be sure.

My speculation re: roles was like this:

I don't think FG makes a judge without the judge being a relevant and central mechanic.

I was thinking the following roles (belonging to cop/government flavors) were reasonably likely to be in the game and gated by the judge: Jailkeeper, Coke Thief (flavored as a police seizure), My own role, Vig (flavored as public execution), Watcher/tracker (flavored as surveillance).

I would expect 4-5 such roles. 3 seems like too few, especially if one is scum, but more than 5 means that the town loses a huge amount of power if the judge dies N1 (which is poss if judge has some degree of NK protection), which is reasonably likely to happen.

That judge approval is required at all doesn't make a whole lot of sense, nor the ambiguity in exactly what roles do, unless at least one scummo has a judge-enabled role. I don't think it's likely for the judge to be scum himself, as it is then optimal play to simply deny all requests and claim VT or such, which then removes a lot of the setup's depth.

In practice, and assuming a competent judge, these roles are basically "even-night foo, and there's a guy out there who knows what you did and enables you," which isn't wildly different than even-night foo. This is why I was extra suspicious of the even-night vig claim: Why wouldn't FG just make this a judge-gated executioner role?

Was going to say, removing 3 kilos would be gamebreakingly powerful.

Could be either gin was lying about having the 3 kilos (which seems pretty probable) or hito is lying (seems somewhat probable given that "burning" cocaine is an odd way to get rid of it.
