Sorry I don't buy the, "the lyrics are ambiguous that there can be multiple meanings" argument. Without beating a dead horse about it being the official meaning, just read the lyrics. This isn't like...The Trees by Rush or something, it's just a straight forward confession. Ari, to me, is an INCREDIBLY cheerful guy, regardless of the situation. He never really takes anything in a bad light, including my 4-0 joke, at least not publicly. Any post I've ever read by the guy has been bright and cheery, and especially among the grey, disgusting muck that makes up most of MS, it's honestly a great change of pace. If by "friend" you mean "people that like you" (I don't really count you online only guys as my "friends" sry) then sure, you arguably do need five people who like you to get a title, but let's face it, it's incredibly difficult to be an active member for more than a couple of months and not have five people who like you. I can't speak for everyone but I feel like my biggest challenge is my lack of self-discipline. I always seem to put off important tasks until the last minute in favor of unimportant but enjoyable pursuits. I feel like I need to convince myself that I

It's possible that it's because I breezed by during elementary and high school and I'm conditioned to care less about my education, even though I'm unable to breeze by in the same way now that I'm in University.
