General Behavioral Expectations:
• All site-wide rules are to be followed. They can be found here. Rules here are also in effect. Important points are:
o Personal attacks on any basis are prohibited. Excessive vulgarity will also be stomped upon. When in doubt, err on the side of being civil and respectful.
o Play to your win condition.

Game Play, Voting, Lynching, and Night Actions:
• Do not quote mod communications anywhere in the thread.

This is our bolded color

so do not use it for any purposes, particularly impersonating us.
• Claiming to be an anti-town player sharing an alignment with another player in the game is a modkillable offense regardless of one's actual alignment or whether the statement was intended to be taken seriously.
• When placing a vote, it is not necessary to unvote first or to put your vote on a new line. However, it would be appreciated if you submitted votes in bold like this:

*** Balance issues were considered in the design and reviews processes, but balance is not guaranteed.

*** Alignments were randomized based on player slot number before any selections were received.

*** There are 10 town players and 3 Mafia players in this game.

*** The Mafia faction has daytalk.

*** The town win condition is as follows:

You win with the town when all non-town-aligned players are dead and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Thursday Night. Table top night. It's been three years since the board game massacre of The Betting Pool's last party. Since then they have been too scared to try and throw together another one. They could still see the markered cards, the scattered pieces, the shredded Monopoly dollars! Who would volunteer to go through that again? Then one day whilst amongst friends GuyInFreezer, mhsmith0, and Tammy, the subject was unexpectedly brought up for the first time since that night....

"So when's the next board game night TBP?" Guyinfreezer asked. TBP stood in the doorway of their home, having just opened it to let in GiF. TBP glared back at GiF who smiled expectantly. Behind TBP, Tammy and mhsmith0 both peeked their heads around the corner with their jaws dropped. TBP slammed the door shut in GiF's face and walked into their home. Tammy rushed forward and opened the door again to let GiF in.

"How could you ask that?" mhsmith0 scolded GiF as he entered. "You know we don't bring up that night. It's still a sore subject for them."

"Oh come on! It's been three years already! They need to get over it!" GiF said in exasperation. "...and I just got a limited edition 50th anniversary version of Life off Ebay!"

"Seriously?" Tammy lightly slapped the back of GiF's head and walked to stand next to mhsmith0, both of them now standing in front of GiF with their arm's crossed, a front united in disappointment. "You go in there and apologize. Now!"

GiF sighed and let his shoulders slump. "Fine!"

GiF walked into the living room to see TBP standing in the middle of the room, looking around at things that weren't there. "Hey TBP, you alright?"

"Three years..." TBP said, not looking at GiF. "Three years is long enough..."

GiF raised his eyebrows in confusion. TBP just smiled mischievously back.

"Gather the players! Game night is on!" TBP said triumphantly.

So the mods have come to the decision to advertise for a replacement for Drixx. He hasn't posted since his 72 hour request for V/LA anywhere on site and has been replaced out of atleast one other game he is in. "Well before we do anything we need to clean up this mess." The Betting Pool looked around at the debris that was everywhere. "It doesn't make sense for all of us to stop and clean this up... there's so many little pieces we'd barely have any play time left."

TBP thought for a few moments then snapped their fingers. "I got it."

They went to a nearby drawer and pulled out some spare dice and started passing them around to all the players. "We all roll and whoever gets the lowest starts cleaning up while the rest of play."

"That doesn't really seem fair for--" started Chickadee, but TBP glared at her. "I mean... let's roll."

All the players looked around nervously and then one by one each rolled two six sided dice. Chickadee was last to go. She stepped up to the table and rolled the dice. Snake Eyes. Chickadee let out a small gasp and looked around but no one was meeting her eyes, each averting their eyes from the tragedy. Chickadee's shoulders slumped. "Not like this..."

As Chickadee started picking up the various game pieces on the floor, she heard TBP announce behind her, "Ok, let's finally get to playing here. Why don't we start with Lords of Waterdeep?"

Finally game night was underway! For awhile The Betting Pool forgot how the event started. Play was finishing on Lords of Waterdeep, and a clear winner was emerging. Something_Smart was way ahead and as the went into the last few turns he looked around with a chuckle. Before the game had started they had all agreed that with so many games already off the list for tonight they didn't have to keep to the schedule anymore so to make the game more interesting, the winner was going to have their game played next. Something_Smart took his final move. "Looks like it's going to be my game next!"

Something_Smart got up while the rest of players finished vying for 2nd place and strutted over to the game pile and picked up One Night Ultimate Werewolf: Daybreak. "So I think this may be appropriate for tonight. I don't even mind being the moderator. I think I do a good job off adding flavor and providing constant vote count updates. Only 2 hydras max though guys and remember to announce when you are going V/LA!"

A few eyebrows raised at Something_Smart. The Betting Pool raised their hand. "What's a hydra?"

Something_Smart blinked at TBP and then shook his head. "Nevermind."

He started to unpack his game but froze as he spread the cards around on the table. "What... what is this?"

TBP looked over his shoulder at all the cards with wide eyes. Something_Smart looked up at the room of players in horror. "Somebody has drawn fake mustaches over all the cards!"

Polly Want A Cracker!

--If you use a One-Shot Vigilante power to kill someone and they are Mafia, your faithful parrot will show up, allowing you to gain One-Shot Vigilante powers if the player you target dies at the end of the night phase OR is lynched the following day phase for the remainder of the game. The same restriction as in

Cheat and Shoot

applies in that you cannot submit a guess and a vig shot on the same night.

This didn't turn out all that great. Too finicky to use, and by the time it would likely have come into play, it would have been very late game anyways. Not necessarily when anyone wants to be shooting from the hip. This would have been better with a scum team where the scum had incentive to target one another with powers and the guess could have been whether a player was targeted by scum. Or make it guessing the lynch within the first 48 hours of a day phase. Something that doesn't involve so much mind-reading. I'm OK with the way the expansion triggered.

Activating the expansion probably should have been a bit trickier, although since it's one-shot I'm not as upset about that. Overall OK with this role, especially since actions do eventually resolve under its conditions.

Once per day phase you may freeze someone's placed vote by PMing the mods. Using this power subtracts one from your accumulated ten unique votes. You may not freeze votes during MyLo or LyLo.

Look At Skulls

--Once you have placed ten unique votes as defined above, you will no longer be a Vote Freezer. You will be a Voyeur! Each night you may target a player. This is a role that I think was overpowered, even if it didn't play out long enough to be so. In hindsight I'd have nuked the cop, upped the number of required favor by at least one,
and...maybe shifted things down so the lowest power role was a fruit vendor. The Beloved part worked to let them give themselves another shot at a high favor number if needed.

The JOAT pool let him duck most of the PRs in the game. Cop was duckable only with expansion gains, another reason I wouldn't have used a one-shot cop for the town JOAT in hindsight. Gladiator also didn't come into play.
