Other Co-Mod here, just want to say a few things:

As you will likely read in the dead thread there were some allegations as to Mod misconduct. We take this very seriously and I don't want to discourage people from having their say, however I would like this post game not to devolve into a site drama mess so we ask that if you have questions or comments on that subject to keep things civil or to contact T-Bone if you feel the need.

Thank You to Penguin for co-modding with me. While the game didn't turn out how we would have liked, I had fun designing it her and geeking out a bit on board games. My personal favorite mechanic was the meeple, and I very much enjoyed Chickadee freezing the meeple.

Lucky, just want to say that I'm sad this intricate game design didn't get more fully exercised. You guys (and your reviewers) did a great job on the design!

thanks btw. I was super excited to see some of the roles payoff and I am sad they didn't. The Cthulu role was my biggest disappointment to not see used.

Pretty sure my claim wouldn't be buyable if I claimed just gladiator.

Just gladiator, probably not. However gladiator with a prize fits right in with the flavor. If you're doubting gladiator would be seen as town, the first board game mafia had a gladiator that was town.

I've already said I don't approve of the Gambit (see dead thread), but to each their own. However I would also like to add that I'm shocked so many people believed that penguin and myself and our 3 reviewers allowed a day cop like that.

I do wish the game had played out a bit more, but I really like the care and thought that was put into making all the roles. I really really enjoyed my role.

Sadly our discussion on your role was in Facebook messenger chat but it was a nice epiphany moment since we had trouble with your initially. I was rather proud of the quest mechanic. The vote freeze ended up being much more relevant and fun to watch though

Maybe have fakeclaims ready already.

As stated before, fake claims were deemed unnecessary. The flavor was not alignment specific. The roles each had a clearly neutral or town part of it that could be claimed. We were not ever going to provide creature a fake claim, we were only offering to write any role he dictated in our own style. As mentioned before though, that became pointless given the time line of events. Had creature asked us days before to write the fake role he wanted us to write we would have happily done so. He was fully aware that claims were coming as he himself said during the night phase in the scum chat they should prepare for the claims during the next day phase. Why scum chose not to approach us at that point is none of my business.
