@reg
I'm getting paranoid about you partly because of the stuff you've said about practically never losing as town -- you haven't been playing lately like someone who has their heart in the game and I would think someone with that kind of record wouldn't be likely to lose motivation. Moreover, it occurred to me that LLD's actions towards you could absolutely be bussing, and in fact that she is known for bussing. I also felt her non reaction today after presumably hiding or pretending to hide behind you, that is to say not mentioning it at all, was curious. I think she's scum because I have read her play in this game. Dreal is just the most likely scum to me on play out of everyone else, he's not roughly jack that was town motivated ever."I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener- Cephrir

I'm always going to disagree with you when you replace into games refuse to read them and post walls of garbage that literally make no sense. If you are always going to suspect me for that then we are going to have a lot of bad times. In post 4211, MathBlade wrote:The way LLD and hebichan piled on drealmerz makes Drealmerz Town.
So Regfan and Drealmerz are conf Town.
Mainly it is a matter of if Cephrir's paranoia which pings me similar to Gay Mafia is scum or just holding onto a bad idea despite being proven wrong about it. If Cephrir is being stubborn Town then it is probably an inactive player for the last scum.
In my view there likely is a scum in the two people you just cleared so if you're going to be stubborn enough to declare them confirmed town based on conclusions you jumped to then we have already lost and I implore you to avoid me in the future."I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener- Cephrir

I'm aware that my reaction to you replacing into this game and that other one are quote similar. It's because that's how I react to nonsense. OK, reading it I can see why you think this, but I think that the "puzzle" just refers to the game of mafia. In post 4251, MathBlade wrote:3) Flavor seems to be important based on the mod's first post.
As much as I never agreed it was the right move for her to do this; it is a bit suspicious and I do suspect her.In post 4251, MathBlade wrote:5) Questioning why LLD didn't policy lynch herself despite her saying on day four she would.
I am not convinced this follows. It's pretty rare for flavor to be significant, and if it is, I would expect the mods to be a bit less amateurish than essentially hinting the name of the person who did it. Plus, if this is a mechanic, what happens if you get a scum kill from a player who there isn't a way to easily hint at the name of? Me, for instance? If I changed my avatar you'd be SOL on making a mechanic like that apply to me which suggests it's not a good mechanic and wouldn't be done. Overally though, I'm really hesitant to think the flavor posts are just going to give away who is scum, I haven't seen that since 2005 on the first site I played on and I think it would be pretty lame.In post 4251, MathBlade wrote:6) Flavor seems to follow each person's death highlighting important actions.
7) The Japanese mafia has been mentioned in multiple flavors.
8) The only player with a Japanese name is Hebichan.
8.5) Therefore Hebichan is likely scum.
There's no rule that says scum have to shoot innocent results. Perhaps they were more afraid of Brian, who was universally townread and a pretty good scumhunter, than hebi, who while possibly clear is a low-impact player. In post 4251, MathBlade wrote:9) LLD said she is a hider.
10) LLD said she visited Hebichan and mhsmith0.
11) Hebichan was not killed on the next night despite being an "innocent" and mhsmith0 was.
12) This means that Hebichan is a godfather to hiders or LLD is scum with Hebichan assuming point 8.5 is true.
Also, I'm just not really interested in considering the "hebi is scum without LLD" angle. I think the whole idea of putting hider-godfathers in this game where hider is essentially the only town power would be very lame."I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener- Cephrir

here is my claim, though it's severely lacking context as presented here and if you want to understand it better i recommend reading my iso from late page 1 to early page 2In post 2787, Cephrir wrote:So, my role is a one shot dream vote count getter. I'm rachael rosen, the girl from do androids dream of electric sheep. Yes, I told you it was shit and you should consider me a VT, because it is and you should.
It's a moonrise action and I sit out of the moonrise vote if I use it (hence the X). The VC I got shows 6/4/2 for day (I guess 3 people didn't vote?? and at least two are wrong or lying? maybe i don't understand how dreams getting hammered works) and 8/3 for night (which still seems to show some nonvoters... maybe scum didn't vote because they were planning on using their roleblock all along?)
This means that Imperium's vote is surely 1/1 unless they're gonna also contribute to the mess of apparent liars. Or perhaps they didn't vote at all. NMS/Nos/Varsoon presumably voted 1 during the day, even without my role we can deduce that since dream 1 was revealed.
The reason I asked for a hammer was that I wanted to pull a shitty gambit. Like mega shitty, and it was very unlikely to work, but I was hoping to squeeze some possible utility out of this shit role.
My plan was to claim that I was informed that dream 2 was pro-scum (or not, I hadn't decided whether to include that or not yet) and I had the ability to dispense a power to a random someone who voted for the minority dream at moonrise. I would then ask like 3 townreads or something to be the only ones to vote for that dream. The reason I wanted the hammer for this was so that no one would have time to point out that this plan doesn't actually work because scum can switch their votes. I was gonna make sure the mods were around and everything, as well as switch my own Day vote to 2 to ensure that it went through.
Then, if my vote count showed 6 players voting for dream 2, we would know that all the scum flipped their votes to 2, thereby clearing the 3 townreads.
Scum probably wouldn't have fallen for it, but I figured it was worth a try.
So as you can see, if I wasn't playing like I needed to hammer before I asked for one, it's because I hadn't yet thought of a shitty gambit/was still trying to work out exactly what shitty gambit to attempt (I had several other plans before this one that I ended up scrapping when I realized they didn't work)."I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener - Cephrir
