Fun fact: I only play this game to gamble on the fact that I'll never role scum. Then, in my first set of roles, I had one option to be town and it was vanilla, so...I'm actually even ashamed to admit this because anyone who's played this game with me ever might have a heart attack...I changed my mind. And chose the survivor role that becomes the alignment of the first one lynched. So...I was banking on it being town.

Anyway, I was actually looking forward to seeing how that would play out, but such is life and now I'm over it.

Just in Greatest Idea Mafia, which I've never played on a forum -- we played this ALL THE TIME during irl mafia meetups and I always chosen town. One time it backfired because I was the only town in a group full of aliens, werewolves, mafia, and third party roles. Womp womp.

It is entirely possible we all got town Mason. However I didn't forget something. Mason in this setup per the wiki is not guaranteed town. It's guaranteed not mafia. So... My Mason partners could be werewolves or 3rd party.

if you go by numbers or statistics, 1 in 3 neighbors are scum....i say neighbors because the difference between masons and neighbors are neighbors can be scum. So the masons in this game are the equivalent to neighbors.....though there is a chance all masons chose a town card for their alignment...
