Lv4 Undead Horse.

Kingsburg
(holy shit this game fucking rules)

Agreed. Sadly the battle cards are usually easy to beat so speccing into the battle-based buildings isn't that viable, and the punishment for losing a battle is never that high (save for a few cards).

yass dropmix. watching this match (~15m) got me to pull the trigger on buying this and I have no regrets

there's a spreadsheet of songs here ("secret cards" at the bottom by default sort) if you haven't seen it, the ones with a date of "November?" apparently have a release of "a couple months after game release" IIRC, but we don't know for sure. I have the 4 playlist packs out now (Ouroboros/Derby/Astro/Mirrors), got my eyes on the Discover packs once I find them at MSRP. Amazon has them up now I think, but you can't buy specific packs so I don't wanna risk getting dupes and dealing with returns.

but yeah I need that September wild and The Mother We Share vocals ASAP, thanks Harmonix for taking more of my money

I'll bring it to SurvivorMeet 2017 if it doesn't get cancelled!
and if you're able to swing it last minute somehow :(

also maybe I'll upload some mixes sometime when I'm not lazy/busy. DropMix thread?

it's not MtG-complex but it's fun and simple enough. deckbuilding with the different FX cards makes it more interesting considering the variety of effects (plus classic card effects such as Demonic Tutor (Searching Within), Pot of Greed (The Depths) and mini Timetwister (the Astro FX card)), although I haven't messed around with that too much. One HMX employee on their launch stream filled their deck with Embrace Chaos FX cards (opp gets -2 points) and kinda rolled everyone so I assume if competitive play takes off anywhere they'd add more deckbuilding rules.

also, allegedly the first draft(s) of the game were Hearthstone-esque; digital ccg where every song had different additional effects. I can see why they'd simplify it, especially if they're appealing to casual board gamers/music game fans. plus the tech is cool and playing with actual cards always feels better

ps - looking for mixes that actually sound okay using the Down With The Sickness wild. The drop is great but I have no idea what else meshes well with it @_@

Spoiler: DropMix was a smash hit at SurvivorMeet

(ignore the food bowls)

Created a thread for it here for anyone interested in the game or who already has it (Chickadee, hito, ???) so we don't spam this one with mixes and shit.

Also played Mysterium over that weekend which was great, and Mystic Vale which I did very badly in but would totally play more of.
