No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

I'm close enough for the drive and I lived in Memphis for 1 year. Sounds like it could be great fun!

Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

So I'm probably going to either this or the UK meet. So I guess convince me not to blight you guys with my insufferable presence?
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Oh no, that sounds awful. I mean...I guess one of the meets will have to be blighted by your insufferable presence. I guess we could take one for the team.

Seriously, though, is Jerry Lawler going to be there?

I can take you to a wooden stand face cut out, where you can insert your face and become Jerry Lawler.

I feel like this will be here before we know it. So maybe start figuring out how many people are really coming and we can start looking at potential lodging.

Public transport here sucks btw and I am fully prepared to drive people around and do airport trips. However my car will only fit 5 people including me (the driver). So I’m hoping that at least one or two other people are planning on driving, or maybe we can pool for Uber’s and stuff.

We’ll figure it out. When I get to a computer I’ll post some links of places I was looking at for potential lodging.

I was thinking about this and like, Memorial Day is going to happen right before this, which is already going to abbreviate my work week, so it might be hard to get more time off for that weekend?

Once again, not saying reschedge the meet just for me, but I wonder if Memorial Day might be a big concern for other folks
There will be no kisses tonight

Memorial Day is actually fine for me, since it's a day off I can get without having to spend a day off.
