Personally, I'd rather lynch from a group that had a lot of good town reads and 1-2 scumreads, with anyone else in a place that I could feel I can solidly figure them out. That's where I am with C. However, if there's a bunch of people you find scummy in a group, and you feel solidly on at least one of them, I can see wanting to explore that. It's if there's a lack of reevaluation that I'd start to get worried.

Scummy is a solid feeling. If you (not you, Bulbazak, the generic you) feel 3+ people in a group are scummy, I would advise you to solidify your reads before voting that group as you're being played.

There are few fundamental differences based on the order of operations, but the biggest problem with scenario 1 is that I don't think anyone would CC claim, regardless of LUV's actual role.

The following is not up for discussion:

If we are lynching a slot, it gets a chance to claim. if it claims TOWN PR and there is NO CC, it is NOT LYNCHED and has done an admirable job of SUCKING, but is still confirmed town.

Caveats:
1) If you are the actual town PR and you do not CC - you are a horrible player, and you will be made fun of for all eternity and given a mocking nickname like 'Bulbathrower' for example if your name is Bulbazak
2) If you are a VT and you claim Town PR, I (and hopefully everyone else in this game) reports you to the site mods for gamethrowing

like the optimal lynching strategy here is to lynch one person from each group. If 2 out of 3 hit mafia game is easymode. If 1 out of 3 hit it's not bad

The claim options open up around day 3 if we've played well, I'd say.

But I also generally feel that the PRs are pretty weak this game and basically only good for clearing a couple of slots should we need it down the road for a PoE. By far the most effective strategy is getting both scum in a group while it still having multiple townies left that shuffle into another group as conftowns. It's a lot for scum to kill through and it wrecks them.
