Hi guys

Some or all of my role hints that random flavor claims may not be a good idea. If we could all keep our shit to ourselves for once, that would be swell.

He might be, but it either doesn't work like that or scum have fake flavors they can use.

People like to puke out their roles lately for no adequately explored reason.

Ok matey, let's be comparin' our notes here.

I be agreein' that the sea creature who be putting together them rotws all suspicious-like be on me plank-walker shortlist. The scurvy foodstuffs who be transformin' into the sunny pirate booty by some sort of nautical witchcraft be the best shark-food to me mind.
This hog be aboard yer ship.
In post 119, Yarrrgami wrote:I be thinkin' the followin' be upright mateys, though me opinion aren't engraved on the hull or anythin' like that:

The mermaid with the barnacles
Prob'ly the beatnik squid
The sea-piggy who not be ye (ye be the octopus combined with nordic moon-eatin' wolfy hidin' behind a land-piggy portrait, in case there be confusion),
The dragon who be makin' the googly eyes at me, but that won't work 'cause I be married to the sea

I be suspicious of whoever be masqueradin' as the rectangular spongey pirate, but that be a story for another voyage.
I be thinkin' this about yer respective mateys:

I still be decidin' if squid-shades and the undership dwellers be worth sharin' me booty wit'.
I like me some sea-piggy. Yarrrr.
I don't be knowin' who here could be a dragon, be methinks those shouldn't be on the open sea fer fear fer me vessel.
I be impressed with yer knowledge of me past avatars but don't recall one of 'em.

I also be likin' the cartoon cereal man and insect fellow a wee bit, and am thinkin' ye could be me first matey yeself.

Ye follow me? I fear I lack yer skill with the pirate tongue.

I've reviewed all his posts with more care and would like to withdraw that townread and express the opposite. I didn't go back to the beginning of the game before posting.

I liked him playing around, but the fact that he went from "QL assemble" to voting porkens, then calling for more votes on porkens, then calling his own vote rvs makes for a rather odd trajectory.

Her reads up to that point didn't help, and stuff said since also hasn't helped.
To your mind, who at this point is not a lurker? I would think you'd be counting a majority of the game as lurking if you're counting beeboy. Is not explaining reads universally scummy in your opinion?
In post 234, Sunlit Diamond wrote:Speaking of her reads...Beeboy and Assemble both strike me as pretty town.
How? You're the one who just complained about scumreading these players with no reasons... why are you townreading them? Assemble especially is very far from "pretty town" in my view, I see him as having made one pretty scummy post and nothing else memorable.
In post 234, Sunlit Diamond wrote:I'd be more shocked if I DIDN'T pick up votes given how disengaged I've been so far.
You keep doing this thing where you decide why people are voting for you. Once again, I do not think you're right.

In post 237, Sunlit Diamond wrote:The fourth is beeboy, who I townread because he's been poking around engaging with everyone. I read the thread and went through his ISO, and I'm seriously not seeing anything to scumread. I admit my town read on assemble is meta-based. The dude regularly lurks as town (got nominated for a title for it and everything), and he has been scumread for it in every game I've seen him in. Until he does something that is ACTUALLY scummy, he's in my town pile. Can you talk about the pretty scummy post he's made? Because I'm not seeing it.
That's fine, but clearly someone else has a differing opinion. Doesn't make them scum. At any rate, contains reasons someone might find beeboy's posts suspicious.

Here you go again deciding why votes are being cast. No one's ever said they were voting assemble for lurking. However, calling him town for doing so seems quite goofy considering that his signature says lurking is not alignment indicative for him. So even he wouldn't argue that.

The post I didn't like, which I'd think should be apparent based on when I and others voted for him, was . Being concerned about Jesters on Page 1 is clearly ridiculous and far from a reason to get off an RVS wagon; and having third parties leap to his mind upon seeing bizarre behavior could indicate a scum player who knows I am not on his scumteam.

I will divulge a little more. A specific flavor being revealed could be bad for me. I took this to indicate that the setup was designed to punish flavor claiming.

Don't really like his predecessor, nor his posts that much. The "Miller" claim is unsettling, like... why is it like his third or fourth post? If he was gonna claim it, I'd have expected his first post to have it.
This seems forced
I actually kind of agree with you here. I've seen miller claims within that time before. What's wrong with it?

First 5 posts for miller are normally enough for me.
???
I was agreeing that porkens push felt forced?
The point is that this is you clearly recognizing the miller claim.

Also, this doesn't really matter if hebi isn't providing it as a reason. We can only go on what she did say, not input made up things.

I would be concerned about yar backing off after several players call for their head upon a hebi townflip, but I'm town reading them hard enough that I'm just making this note of it instead.

If it isnt assembles with desperado here, it's cephrir btw.

The buddying here is too real.

But I'm not willing to put ceph above assemble because I know this is just part and parcel with ceph sometimes.

Still the "Haha, I haven't made a case or any content, so I'm just going to make you argue with yarrgami instead" sets me off.
Christ, hebi.

I have content. Obviously I agree with yar's case, and didn't have you as a particularly strong suspect before that, so when would I have needed a case? I'm not trying to start shit. It's perfectly reasonable to point out that there is a perfectly good case already in existence and to be bothered by people brushing it off. It's not buddying. They made some strong effortposts. Opponents of their stance should acknowledge it. That's how fucking mafia works.

If you actually want to look into it, I go into policying millers somewhere in those games.

But more likely, you're quite an experienced player, its complete fucking bullshit you need an explanation on why millers need to die before lylo. You might disagree with that theory because some do, but asking for an explanation of it is something that's just posturing for anyone with your experience.

D i e s c u m
I disagree with it.

What I wanted an explanation of was not this but why your suspects are who they are.

Your role is specifically "night kill immune," and not "bulletproof," yes?

I do believe the mod is having a little joke. I wonder if it's a role joke or a fakeclaim joke.

still wondering why you claimed to be bulletproof...

i mean i guess it's not likely to be useful if true with your slot under suspicion but you aren't supposed to just fullclaim when you enter a game and i didn't have the impression you had read the thread at that point

I can't do that without revealing some information about my role that scum would like to have.

I will say that at least as far as I go, that thing is no longer relevant. It looks like my setup spec about their being other punishments in the setup for outing flavors was wrong, given no one else has said anything of the sort.

I have no reason to think scum have this info.

I was just told that X flavor is in the game, and if they die I can't use my powers anymore. I didn't even know if the enabler was town or not.

i guess i just wasn't under the impression that the correct play for millers was to fullclaim. i thought they were just supposed to claim miller.

but then again, when i faked miller that one time i got attacked for not fullclaiming, so i probably should have figured out that some people expect that (for some reason).

Mr. Krabs, krusty krab operating jack of all trades

I tracked beeboy night 1, I guess we decided I shouldn't give a result yet but I do have one
Night 2 I jailed tywin. This was kind of a bad night action and I admit I was sort of just mad at him but I didn't want to block yar
Pearl was my enabler so I wasn't able to use my third and final ability, a commute. I didn't ever think I was in danger of being killed so meh.

if we can out this person as scum, we can lynch them, have lucky protect yar if he's telling the truth, and have yar determine who's telling the truth, right? it won't be certain as scumbob could get a lucky guess but it might win it.
