If people promise not to be idiots with it, I can try to do something with this.
On the far left, please put your MS Username, your LoL user name, and then under the 7 days of the week, please put time availability. These aren't hard commitments, just general senses of "When am I available and when am I busy consistently." These will be used to try and find peak times to organize for.
Then, in the middle section, there are 3 columns. Suggestions, Game Modes, Restrictions.
Suggestions is there for people to make general suggestions on how to run and improve inhauses.
Game Modes is to suggest what kinds of game modes people are most interested in playing an inhaus on.
Restrictions is for suggesting fun game types to play (All Mid, All Random, All Least Played Champ, All Melee).
These are just there for fun and discussion of possibility. I suspect most games run like this will be normal SR, with an attempt at balanced teams and no restrictions.
As for team balancing, the way we will do it is we will have 10 people sign up and we will randomly draw two captains, who will do schoolyard pick.
This way, we don't do this stupid shit where we fight over who is the best or worst, captains are chosen randomly and they pick their teams.
Finally, on the far right is a column for sign ups. Don't touch this for now, but this is where we will keep track of interest for each match (and time).Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.

Kleptomancy apparently also gives your basic attack extra range after using an ability. But this isn't mentioned at all in the League Client???

Are there any ground rules for the inhaus besides rune testing? Would we be playing to win and/or randomizing and/or feed-farming so everyone gets good items???
There's a boatload of champs I haven't played in years so I'd like a legit contest if that's cool. They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe.

Why do you always have to say shit in the rudest way...?In post 3401, PJ. wrote:

I was willing to help set something up - I wasn't going to go as far as LLD did, so we're probably better off with that help. The point I was making was that I didn't specifically want or expect this to coalesce in the next... week or two? Semi-RL shit on this forum doesn't seem to work that fast, in general.-

(there's actually only a *little* more to it than doing a quick champion.gg search)Hi everyone, NovaAsterix here to reveal some secret tools we use to measure champion popularity at Riot. Hint: There’s more to it than doing a quick champion.gg search, and it involves a lot of data.
vry happy to have this data though; will help interpret other statistics-

yeah!Define champion pool and associated role:
Role: SUPPORT
Champion Pool: ['Sona']
Safety Summary.
Winrate of each champion in pool when they're in their worst matchup:
(['Sona'], [0.4797])
Response Summary: How responsive is your champion pool?
If you get the chance, can you counter or match any opposing pick?
THis is your worst possible matchup winrate supposing you always get to counterpick
and always pick the champion in your pool with the best winrate for the matchup:
0.4797
Performance Summary:
What's your average matchup winrate if you always get to pick the champion in your pool with the best matchup against the opposing pick?
0.5354474532341672
Recommendations:
Using either worst_winrate_pool() or performance_score() to score, rank champions by what they'd improve your score to if they were added to your champion pool.
Recommendation by performance score: (['Taric', 'Leona', 'Alistar', 'Sion', 'Blitzcrank', 'Zilean', 'Shen', 'Braum', 'Nautilus', 'Janna', 'Xerath', 'Nami', 'Soraka', 'Rakan', 'Tahm Kench', 'Fiddlesticks', 'Thresh', 'Lulu', 'Lux', "Vel'Koz", 'Zyra', 'Teemo', 'Veigar', 'Bard', 'Karma', 'Ornn', 'Brand', 'Morgana', 'Annie', 'Malphite', 'Trundle', 'Miss Fortune', 'Kennen'], [0.5439945985554274, 0.5405869308070763, 0.5370287448968909, 0.5357277085732232, 0.5354457290903382, 0.5353354810007327, 0.5347027896995709, 0.5345101643462786, 0.5333472783418821, 0.5330254527373599, 0.5322278027844657, 0.5321760075368993, 0.5312447869779127, 0.5306881764890611, 0.5305419030670993, 0.5304457395582539, 0.5302621480163299, 0.5299799434732545, 0.5297365853658537, 0.5297276667015597, 0.529647744164137, 0.5294870407201926, 0.5285495969852402, 0.528476421019575, 0.5281373495237098, 0.5280520569454621, 0.5279992934156809, 0.5274125824348372, 0.5270446456610489, 0.5264386056736103, 0.5261466764367214, 0.5253866638752225, 0.5238869360410342])
Recommendation by worst matchup score: (['Alistar', 'Taric', 'Nautilus', 'Nami', 'Leona', 'Braum', 'Blitzcrank', 'Zilean', 'Xerath', 'Soraka', 'Thresh', 'Lulu', 'Lux', 'Shen', 'Rakan', 'Sion', 'Fiddlesticks', "Vel'Koz", 'Janna', 'Zyra', 'Tahm Kench', 'Veigar', 'Bard', 'Karma', 'Ornn', 'Brand', 'Teemo', 'Morgana', 'Annie', 'Malphite', 'Trundle', 'Miss Fortune', 'Kennen'], [0.4945, 0.4817, 0.4797, 0.4797, 0.4797, 0.4797, 0.4797, 0.4668, 0.4651, 0.4638, 0.4622, 0.4569, 0.4551, 0.4549, 0.454, 0.451, 0.451, 0.4508, 0.4508, 0.4495, 0.4493, 0.4384, 0.4344, 0.4326, 0.4314, 0.4296, 0.4197, 0.4178, 0.4146, 0.4087, 0.4021, 0.3939, 0.3728])
so what my code does is measure and then make recommendations for the quality of an input champion pool based on op.gg matchup statistics and two measures of quality
"average matchup winrate" (AKA performance score) - your average matchup winrate if you always get to pick the champion in your pool with the best matchup against the opposing laner/etc
"worst matchup winrate" - your winrate in your worst possible matchup even if you always get to pick the champion in your pool with the best matchup against the opposing laner/etc
In the above quoted example, my support champion pool consists solely of Sona. Sona is really strong right now, so even in her worst matchup, she wins about 48% of the time. In her average matchup, she wins 53.5% of the time.
But (unless I dodge a lot) I can't always pick Sona for my ranked games, right? And there are some matchups that are hard for Sona (like Blitzcrank and Leona) that might be easier for other support champions to handle. Also, sometimes I get bored of Sona but want to keep winning and keep playing support. Maybe for these reasons I decide I want to add a second champ to my support pool! If so, I can use my measures of average matchup winrate and worst matchup winrate to choose.
Alistar and Taric are reliably in the top 3 of support champions who improve my champion pool's average matchup winrate and worst matchup winrate. Why? Because in matchups where Sona suffers, they do pretty well. For example, against Blitzcrank and Leona, Sona wins 48.07% and 47.97% of the time, respectively. Taric, however, wins 55.2% of the time against Blitzcrank and 52.98% of the time against Leona. Since I can pick Taric instead of Sona against these champions, I win a bit more often. Also importantly, these champs do okay againstSona, too! Alistar, for example, beats her 49.79% of the time.
On the other hand, if you added a champion like Lux (or god forbid MF or Kennen) to your support champion pool, you'd see less bang for your buck as far these measures go. Lux is worse against champions like Blitzcrank and Leona than Sona is, and only wins 45.51% of the time against Sona, too. Maybe you'll pick her anyway because you like her or because you're already familiar with the caster support style (so it won't take as long to become good w/ her); these are all good reasons to add Lux to your pool that my measures don't take into account! But she probably doesn't round out your champion pool like a Taric or Alistar could.
Of course, in this example, the benefits of adding Taric or Alistar to my champion pool are not very big - on both measures of champion pool quality, adding Taric improves neither by even 1 percentage point. That's because Sona is just *that* good this patch. But Sona won't be so powerful forever (right??) and lots of champion pools aren't so lucky. Very often, decisions about your champion poolmatter. In the loose non-existential sense.
Deciding a new champion to take seriously can be agonizing; with these tools, it's a little bit easier.
