VOTE: Fishythefish
Anything specific that pings your gut? I realise I've been a bit quieter today - that's a time thing (which will definitely improve from the end of next week, and I hope before).
Partly.
I realized that my case on DeasVail could easily be said of you as well. Only you've flown so well under the radar, that this only occurs to me in flashes. (I should mention that I only play one game at a time, and I mull things over in the back of my head a lot). I have no decent reason to town read you. I have no particular reason to scum read you. You've played a safe game. Very safe. You've not taken a single risk, you've not made any waves. I town read you for not voting me when my slot was super vulnerable, but honestly, that was naive. I hadn't taken your style into account. If you're playing this as a scum game, I don't think you'd take the risk of jumping on a lynchbait wagon except "reluctantly", so as to avoid culpability.
@Luca, I'm trying to refrain from looking for a case right now because that's exactly what it would be. I can't pretend I'd be anything but conf. biased when looking to back up a gut read. I want to wait a little bit. I have a hard time holding onto "feelings", so I figure if I give it a little while before I go "looking", my bias will fade. But this read has been eating at me, and I didn't want to wait too long to act on it.
But unfortunately if you can't back up your read with anything convincing then Fishy is in no danger of being lynched today, and all your vote does is further dilute the vote-count as we begin to edge near deadline.
The better approach would have been to keep your suspicion to yourself for at least another day in the hope he'd be NK'd if he was Town.
I don't think I did the wrong thing. I want to keep my vote here for a while. If this is still a vanity vote in a few calendar days, I'll move it back to a wagon. In the meantime, I might make a case.
Do you have any particular reason for townreading Fish?
Hm...In regards to UCV, I will admit that at first his posts appear to be town oriented, but later on it seems like he is getting more and more aggravated when it comes to posts like #1162, speaking of which, Mutant raised some very valid points regarding UCV in post #1162, such as how they never responded to various posts made about them. Also, Deas's post mentioning that scum are "less likely to be emotionally involved" goes against previous games i'v seen/been in, not saying that is scummy, but normally I have found scum to be a bit more emotional in games (as have others, if the tips page is anything to go by).
My biggest concern with lynching UCV is that his reads and his votes have been out of left field. Except for his unvote, he has kinda been in his own world without any regard to what people think about him. Like I think he's on the wrong track, but I feel like he believes what he is sayin. I'll go peruse through his scum game I guess...
There was one post that struck me as scummy and it was him talking about not wanting to end the day early because its "good for town".
Conf. Bias... And not really knowing what the VC is, but I think my vote would put him at L-1. I just finished that newbie game and can see where your vendetta is coming from... lol

I really don't think this is a good summary of my game. I might back that up more fully at some point, but I think I've started or tried to start a few wagons, pushed back on some bad cases, and generally tried hard to work out who scum is.
I agree that if you're town, staying off your wagon is not very AI.
The thing is... I just realised... 'Bout something very important... My role card... Assuming my role card is a copy-paste of everyone else's... Green isn't on there...

No, you don't even care if he is town or scum. You don't even care if he is a PR or not. You just lynch him without giving him a chance to either WIFOM or claim or anything. You just suck at this game, and me knowing my alignment makes you suck all the more. Literally if you aren't scum, you are because all you are doing is helping them win.
