Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Both TWIE and Titus are playing in auction. You should ask them if they'd like to play in this too. I'm not really sure why this doesn't get an annocment but thats up to the mods.

I think Mith tapes some numbers to his blocks and when he picks them up it determines the draft order.

theoretically, say you want my #1 pick and for it, I want your first, third and fourth round picks. Say we agree. You tell me who you want at #1 and I tell you all who I want when your #12th, 25th, and 37th picks. We obviously trade after the draft and you'll be 2 players down but then you can just use the waiver wire to pick up players.

Like, its doable but I think any trades would have to be made public and enforced by the commish after the draft.

In a 12-team league that is not feasible whatsoever.
I think we already did something similar to that once. Like trading, draft picks seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do do I'm not really opposed to the idea in general but its seems like it might be a little hard to do.

he drafted Rawls when Lacy is penciled in as the starter. He's basically offering Montgomery/Powell for the stuff he wanted.

I dunno how things are gonna play out w/ the Jets. I think Powell has been better than Forte and should get most of the work, but the Jets may not agree and see things differently.
Both ourlads and espn have Lacy penciled in as the starter. Chances are that Seattle mixes carries. Choice is the third down back. I'm optimistic that Lacy finally bounces back. In hindsight, I maybe shouldn't have taken Crowell and taken a WR in rd 2 but then a Crowell/Hyde seems like a nice 1-2 punch. I think Brown-Tate-Diggs is an intriguing WR trio but Tate can be frustrating at times.

I agree with you that Powell will prob get the majority of the work. I had considered taking him as a late round depth pick but then like that offense will prob not be that good and the run game might not be that good?

yep, i'm going 0-14.

Same. I'm playing Aronis twice (out of division) and Baboon once but it doesn't matter who I play, I'll still lose.

I'm in 10th place but

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride would be 43-12 if they played every team every week.
If Baboon Bamboozlers had played every team in the league each week, they would be 39-16.
Ramblin' Rhinos would be 36-19 if they played every team every week.
If they played every team every week, My dear Watson would be 34-21.

If Rob's Shitshow had played every team in the league each week, they would be 31-24.
If they played every team every week, Mask of Zorotter would be 27-28.
If they played every team every week, Tally Whackers would be 26-29.
If they played every team every week, Coruscant Jedi would be 25-30.
If they played every team every week, Sea Brees would be 23-32.
If Players on IR Leader had played every team in the league each week, they would be 20-35.
If DakstreetsBack had played every team in the league each week, they would be 16-39.
If DN. R? had played every team in the league each week, they would be 10-45.

I think I've had it up to here. I literally cannot win in L1 while everyone else has easy as fuck schedules. The schedule isn't even set up right and that likely screwed me out of a win last week. Though tbf, I shouldn't have started Jones this week.

I mean, even if I had played Hyde instead of Jones I'd still only be winning by 3 points right now. And Antino Brown would have to get more that want Fitzgerald, Beat Mode an Thomas get. Like I could maybe eke out a win but I hate that I don't seem to get matchups against teams that score like 60-80 points :/

funny coincidence that no one else will care about but me.

In L1 I have Deshaun Watson and the team I was playing had Kirk Cousins.

In the auction league, I have Kirk Cousins and was playing Deshaun Watson.

All five of the losses for My dear Watson this season have come when their opponent had their highest-scoring week of the season.
I've had a WHOPPING 649 pts scored against me which is like 90ish points more than the 2nd (Agar) at 549.

Somehow I am listed as second in power rankings and yahoo thinks I'll go 6-2 in my next games. Yeah right.

But my points scored are 564 which is 3rd best in the league.

It's just my opinion. I didn't even vote against the trade. I'm just saying that Rext gets a starting quality back for RB depth and a WR 3. Obviously, now that SF has Jimmy G Garcon's outlook is a little
better
but supposedly Jimmy G doesn't start till week 12 (though that could be the coach trying to psych teams out).

yea! I'm in 9th place and my EPE in tied for #2. Hopefully, I can avoid a demotion with a few more wins (but I shouldn't be anyways)

10 teams is so much of a fucking joke. Just draft better and make smarter wire pickups. If anything, I'd argue to reduce the bench size before axeing two teams.

The bottom 4 in L1 (9, 10, 11, 12) go to L2

Top 3 in L2 go to L1.

last place in l2 goes to L3

Winner of L3 goes to L1.

This is the stupidest paragraph I've ever read, congrats.
just for shits and giggles what even is your argument for a 10 team league?

Keeper leagues are basically impossible for a league like this, with relegation and promotion and people dropping out and coming in so often.

KMD and I discussed making the auction league a keeper (assuming a majority would want that) or creating a separate keeper lesgue.

Thank god for that 6-1 run after starting 1-6. Mildly annoyed that I was #1 in points scored but felt close to demotion all year long. Part of me wonders what things would look like if the scheduling was correct.

Not that I think that we should nix the division setup but I would be in favor of changing the demotion/promotion system based on points scored. That seems like a much more viable indication of owner ability/luck/skill than record based on schedule as that's super swingy.

I've thought about that alot and at first, I was all

and wanted him automatically demoted but after thinking about it? naw. He just should lose GM status. He came in 10th so it doesn't matter anyways.

There's going to be a fair amount of turnover in l1 and l2? I feel like divisions should be kept somewhat static.
