there's no reason a mod couldn't use a discord channel for PT type stuff. I'd probably warn players you're doing that ahead of time so they know they may need to sign up or what not. The only thing as a mod I'd probably make sure everyone knew was that talking about the game outside of the provided discord is prohibited (so no poking someone via personal message, etc.)
