Red Sox fan here.

Still a lot of baseball left to play, including seven more games with the Yankees. We've won six straight now. Hopefully we can pull off a 10-12 game streak like we did toward the end of last year. That would most likely seal the division.

I absolutely would not be surprised to see him turn into the modern equivalent of Ryan Howard. Had an amazing call-up season and MVP season early in his career, does decently well at an All-Star level for a few years before becoming wildly average.

If they can take 2 out of 4 against the Angels and then win the Oriole's series, they'll be in good shape heading into Tampa.

Literally is borderline impossible, given the variance and parity that exists in baseball today. Truly remarkable run.

Playoff picture is set!

Thoughts? Predictions?

I'll start by going with both home teams in the Wild Card Games. I then see Boston of course and Cleveland advancing to the ALCS while the Dodgers host the Nationals in the NLCS. I dare not venture any further at this point.

I think people still don’t realize we’re a pretty good team for post-season baseball. We have an ace, a lights-out pen, good speed, and good defense except at 3B. The last two games have shown me that the D.S. could be a coin flip. Benintendi will have to turn it around. To me, he's the key. I think Fister starts game 3, and I feel confident that he will give a poised, professional performance. It'll be interesting to see if Farrell starts Hanley at DH, or if Nunez fills that role. It's difficult to justify keeping Nuney out of the line-up if he can swing and run. There are a lot of ways to get him into the lineup including DHing Devers, or even benching Pedroia.

Well that was ugly. Sale's pitches were flat all game and Altuve's seeing beach balls. Good thing it isn't a one game playoff! We'll be better tomorrow and level it up.

How about now
:(

Honestly, I can't be mad. I'm beyond disappointed, but not in the Sox. They went out fighting and I give them tons of respect for that.

One of the most entertaining series' ever. Congratulations Houston, no one can say you don't deserve it.
