Could be true, but more than likely he's just being reactive and making an excuse.

This seems unreasonable tbh, he was gone less than 12 hours. Other people have had gaps that long in their posts, why is it only relevant for CK somehow?

It was 12 hours, other players have had a bigger gap. I'm not arguing "for or against" anything, I want 2iam to explain why CommKnight not being here is apparently so relevant, but for every other player who had a gap between posts, it's not.

In case you hadn't notice, this is early day 1 and reads may not be as strong as they would be, say, later in the game. We have to form our reads based on something.

This still doesn't explain why you're focused on only one of the players out of the half a dozen or so who've had a ~12hour gap in posting at this point of the game.

If the reason for your suspicion of CK is based on his activity, why are you not suspicious of the other low activity players?

I take a long-ass break from mafia purely because I was so sick of people just expecting me to play to some hyper-active meta, because I couldn't enjoy a single game of mafia without receiving attention for 'deviating from my town-play' because for some reason everyone just expects me to try-hard every single game. Even though I've never done that, I've always had a combination of high-effort and low-effort games just depending on how enjoyable I'm finding the game.

Not even past Day 1 and already dealing with it. Awesome.

i don't really see anything you've done as scummy, i don't think any of these cases on you are very good, they're all a bit reachy and i don't trust the place where each person is coming from. i especially don't like TIAM's OMGUS vote (whether conscious or unconscious, it's bad) and this wagon just overall really sucks
