This shot can be made by posting, in bold, "Kill: Player". If you miss the free shot, you automatically lose.

Should I give a shot at a geriatric ruleset?

That depends. Are you going to play the game to have fun and attempt to honor the spirit of the ruleset? If so, hell yes.

If you're just going to get frustrated and replace out and know that, probably not.

The thing to remember is that this is not necessarily a better way to play mafia. It is a way to play mafia that is more enjoyable to a subset of players on site and it is disrespectful to both yourself and them to make a disingenuous attempt to join a geriatric game and then flake or play in a spammy manner.

I'd highly suggest giving the rules on the wiki a read and checking out korts thread (which is linked to from the wiki) if you're on the fence about it. If you decide that it's something you'd generally love to try (and I'm speaking as someone with no authority beyond my failing joints, health, eyesight, and hips) we'd be happy to have you, but you should make that commitment to yourself.

With that said, no one is going to hate you if you join, make an honest effort, and decide that you're just not a geriatric.
