Maybe Rodgers is tired of the Packers hanging him out to dry every season and sabotaged the team so he could be released.

Questionable TD call gives Steelers fans more reason to whine. Sad truth is they lost the game with that INT, and the Bills lost this game giving up 3 unanswered TDS. Holy shit, keep crying about the refs.

Lol game was tied at the half, their D was doing well against Brady at home and they got the ball to start second half. They didn’t have a reason to have low morale or no momentum.

And the game wouldn't have been tied at half?

I keep forgetting that teams might plan and adjust based on score and whatever.

Also when something really big happens(negatively, or positively as a note.) right before halftime how morale can possible be affected in anyway. It's really an interesting take on things.

But you're an idiot so I'm just going to ignore you instead.

To be honest, I think the Jets TD that was ruled a touchback was the worst call all year.

The biggest problem I have with these rulings, is you are only suppose to overturn if there is no doubt the official made an error. The very fact we are having a conversation right now about these rulings, means there is doubt. So you should go by the call on the field.

Yeah sure!

It's been amazing to me to see how well he is doing. A lot of people are talking about how complex Shanahan's system is to learn, but on top of that - he had never played with any of these guys before. He already seems to have really good chemistry with Goodwin and Taylor but they mentioned the other day that he's got completions to 8-9 different people in the last couple of games. I have to imagine he and the rest of the team are going to get even more comfortable together once they actually have more than a few weeks' worth of practice as a team.

At least we can all celebrate the fact that this pats thing will only last a couple more years because they screwed up and traded Garropolo for a 2nd Rd pick.

Then we can watch LUV be a New York-based Rams fan or something in stead of a New York-based pats fan.

I mean, the Bills were robbed of the TD before the half.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

The thing is, there's two separate issues with these calls: is the correct call being made in the end and whether the replay rules are being followed. People are spending too much time arguing over the first (which ironically is the one I think the NFL is getting right: per the laws of the game, the Steelers TD was called correctly in the end, and my personal opinion is the Benjamin didn't have the second foot down when he gained control of the ball, for example) and less about the second. The standards of replay are supposed to require "incontrovertible visual evidence" to change a call, with the assumption that the on-field call is right unless proven otherwise. That's clearly not happening. Too many calls are being relitigated by Al Riveron, and instead of finding definitive evidence that proves the call was wrong, he's looking at the play from scratch and deciding what he'd call with the benefit of camera angles and slow motion. That's unacceptable, and leads to stupid conspiracy theories that undermine the competitive integrity of football.

Right, especially with the Benjamin catch, the rule of "calls can only be overturned if there is
clear and obvious
evidence" is simply not being followed and these plays are being freshly officiated from New York.

Right. I don't think it's malicious or anything, rather that the guy simply wants to get the right call. That's not how replay is supposed to work per the NFL's rules. If you want to go in that direction, change the rules so I can go back to tuning out people who're convinced not catches are catches when the rules are pretty clear that it's not a catch and blaming biased officials and conspiracy theories when they should just be mad that the rules on what is and isn't a catch are pretty unsatisfactory.

Also, the way their teams have played without them is evidence that Jimmy G and Deshaun Watson are MVP contenders.
