Mulch, this is a retreat from the overly posted in, less content filled games of late.

When I started playing mafia I modelled myself on a fantastic wall poster from my original site. They got so much info into each post and prompted responses of the same type. It was glorious!

My playstyle has changed with site meta, but I have found it almost impossible to play as there is so much speed but so little content to games nowadays. I would spend hours reading page upon page of games and learn nothing about people's alignments from them. Combined with a busy life I was forced into retirement because I could not keep up!

This ruleset offers players like me a chance to have fun again. A chance to enjoy Mafia like we used to! It is not for everyone, and I would never expect you to play in one. It is not your style nor is it your version of a fun game. But I, for one, am extremely glad it has been created!

Gonna go and put my support behind it as a ruleset. I will not play under it because it doesn't suit how I play and I have trouble reading long posts and find it downright impossible to deal with quote strips.

But that is fine. But I also understand that players really like having less post heavy games because that is what they have trouble dealing with and that is what makes games tedious for them.

Should we really be allowing cults in mafiascum is the question though? Especially when they could take players from normal games? Generally cults are frowned upon, and for good reason

I can't inagine so. I mean, say a mini, the most numver of posts should be ~130 and 5 pages is nothing to sort for player postcount. And that is if everyone posts to the maximum amount which isn't going to happen.

I helped backup a pist restricted and it was quite simple! When doing each VC just account for posts and votes.

Fair enough. I just find it to be a bit restrictive- and I think it sort of shames people with a different playstyle. I mean, in all fairness, I understand some people don't have the time to catch up/the want to not read posts. But I also think this playstyle (if it gets too common) could really drive people away from the site considering how harsh it can be. So as long as it stays a "cult" I think it's fine, but if it becomes super common, I think the site could really be hurt by it

I see you are still harboring a lot of salt from last game- considering you said you "foed" me on "your first game" but I've actually only played one game with you . I know you townread me for my AtE and stuff but I don't think you should be taking that out on me. Keep in mind that this is just a mafia site.
