how much were their metrics changed by the Peterman start?
Granted you have to have a pretty stupid coaching staff/dysfunctional front office for that to occur. But 5 INTs into the second quarter has to hurt a lot of their stats.

DVOA is calculated by calculating average outcomes given a set of parameters (like, say, your opponent having the ball at your own 20) and comparing your performance to the performance of the "average" defense. ELO takes into account only 16 discrete outcomes with their points. In that case, the 5 int quarter has 1/64 impact on that score.

My thought that the Bills will beat the Jaguars is not based in any way on the Bills being a good team, it's based on my expectation that the Jaguars will somehow fuck this up. I fully expect it to finish like 10-9 and accurately be shit on as the worst playoff game in history.

Yeah I don't think this'll happen.

Like I don't actually have faith in Bortles, but I do have faith in Fournette/Yeldon/Grant ripping the Bills D a new one, with Bortles being competent enough to take advantage of the fact that the Bills have to literally play 8 guys in the box every play.
