Norfolk Meet 2018 (late summer?)

Hey guys! So like 9 of the 12 apartment complexes i am looking to rent have large resident clubhouse type areas that are able to be reserved by residents and guest suites (an apartment that isn't leased that the residents can rent for a low daily fee for guests to stay in) that make it super easy for me to host a meet!

One of them this public space is a mix of inside/outaide deckspace on the 24th top floor of a skyscraper in downtown norfolk a bloxk from the waterfront.


So I want to start planning on hosting a meet!

Im thinking a three/four day on a non-holiday weekend sometime in July/august.

In my apartment/a single guest suite i could probably fit like around 20 attendees, if people were willing to sleep on couches available in the restricted-access public spaces then that exponentially increases.

They all include kitchens available in the public areas and the nicer ones have gourmet catering style kitchens. So we could do a grocery fund for food. The complexes are also all in downtown norfolk within a 10 minute walk from over 30 restaurants and bars with some having restaurants and bars on premesis on the first floor.

Lots of historic places to visit &things to do in norfolk and hampton roads too so we should have plenty to do.

The USS Wisconsin battleship museum is a block away from most or them and offers an escape room on the ship as well. I could do base /ship navy tours as well (base for sure, ship depending on the weekend / my ship is in port or not)

I wanted to get an idea of interest and see what weekends work best for people interested so i could start planning

So the apartment complex I ended up going with us have sleeping space for maybe 10 people 15 if you can do floors and has a huge clubhouse outdoor grills and pool that is open to resident use 24/7
