I'm still WOTCing ethos. This just wasn't fun. One player hadn't even participated yet.

Like if Lovebird and Alex had actually been scumreading me and caught me fair and square, fine, but quickhammering is an awful way to play tiny micros.

I do want to play this setup again. But I think too many people sign up for tiny micros who are willing to just shoot from the hip.

Edit: Yeah I agree to release.

Would like to see Lovebird and Alex again specifically actually.

I'll admit that the flaws I made were
- Not directly asking Lovebird to unvote me before I went after ethos
- Not outing that the wagon was a reaction test to ethos

But I think we should generally agree that that kind of play is pretty awful.

And you can win by playing the lottery, or bluffing to hell and back with unsuited 2 7. Doesn't mean it isn't objectively the wrong call.

Also doesn't mean it was a fair call, again, given that one player had barely posted. You can randomly lolhammer anyone and have a 1/4 chance of winning.

In post 24, Archwing wrote:I agree the hammer was not the standard "right" play to make.. But he did win and technically violated no rules. Sad to see it end like this so soon, but it does happen
I'm not arguing it was against the rules. And broken clock is right twice a day, etc etc.

It's not about it being unstandard. He scumread me under false pretenses, put someone at L-1 and quickhammered while specifically complaining about other people putting me at L-1, and explicitly voted against his reads.

He also once self-voted as town in 4p and lost.

I'll give credit to Lovebird for not actually townreading me, because she had all the information at hand and didn't just fall for my play. But ethos's argument that I was trying to manipulate him and his reads was just straight up incorrect, and can be shown when the PTs open.

I mean the sad thing is ethos is gonna be the only player who walks away with this satisfied with how it ended :/

You made the right call there. I took a risk in assuming ethos would be afraid of being immediately lynched the next day if he quickhammered.

Turns out he wasn't. He told me in the PT that he had some kind of "plan" and he was for sure lynching one of you and Alex tomorrow, lol.

i can't tell if you're being ironic considering the PTs haven't even been opened yet

dude

again

i don't have any issue with people scumreading me if i played a bad game or if they put in the work and accurately read me

you lolhammered a day into the game

it just made it not fun

i'd be upset if you hammered ANYONE like that

the point here is just that one player didn't even get a chance to play the game

anyway
/pre-in for next
if Archwing decides to run again
