What would you rather I do?

I wanted an early wagon to
A. Put pressure on the player being wagoned to explain their vote
B. Put pressure on the player being wagoned to actually do something so I can sort them
C. See who jumps on the wagon and get reads on these jumps
D. See how people react to the existence of the wagon

So far, I've gotten interesting material from who else jumped on it, and a whole lot of people calling the wagon shit without explaining why (this, for the record, is NAI but annoying).

But as a rule I will NEVER go ahead and unvote someone that I'm specifically trying to pressure, unless there's someone else I'm scumreading way harder.

Like I can see how it looks like I'm playing like shit because I haven't actually done much of anything outside of throwing reads and pushing this wagon, but this game being held up by lurkers is not going to help me get into the groove.

And I'll go ahead and tell you I'm better as town than as scum; don't go down that route of "Math is too stupid right now to be scum". But my early reads are generally no better than random; the strategy early game is to throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.

So I've been thinking about deathnotes 171 over the weekend. First take of it felt towny, but didn't answer everything. I took a closer look at it today and the reason everything wasn't addressed is because he responded to my earlier "less descriptive post" and not my later "more explained post". I get town vibes from this part:

I'm interested in Vax swapping from Godel to me after my post. I would say it's too clever for scum to immediately pop off a shit wagon like that and onto the person calling them out, especially since I honestly believe Vax thinks I was scummy.

BUT I hate how he is just death tunneling his reads from that one wagon, and HE is calling them lazy town or scum.

Saying "math is playing like shit" is a great way for scum to vote someone and then back off if they need to the town/scum comments just seems like theater to show us they are "thinking" about it. The last sentence reads to me: Guys godel was a shit wagon, don't scum read me for saying so, I'm not going to analyze people alignments like deathnote!

What do you mean "dismissal"? Like not voting him? 1 of 2 things will happen, they will be forced to participate more or be replaced. I feel way more comfortable reading assemblers alignment once they participate more rather than an unknown replacement, but if we don't get that participation from him, then we will get a replacement. Do you really want to lynch a lurker that bad?
If your argument is that we just need to be telling him he should post more... how is that going to help anything? He is going to post or he is not.
