I have played this in real life a lot. Though in all fairness I don't like how my friends play the game lol. They are often responding to questions in ways that break the game (either in favor of the spy or against the spy).

I don't like NM's answers but there's reasonable doubt that NM is just being NM and he's also going a bit hard towards not giving hints to the spy. Some players do.

The fact that Icon still suspects me is a big tell. Maybe I was vague in the start of the game but more recently it's obvious to those who know the location that I know the location.

At this moment in time I disagree that the spy is either aronis or TW.

There is at least one answer from aronis that if they were spy they would not answer in that way because it would be risky. I'm not in love with his Q&As but don't think he's spy. But if the two people who I'm suspecting convince me they're town, Aronis is spy by PoE.

I'll hate myself if TW is spy but thankfully he's not.

if aronis is spy he would be both incredibly lucky and incredibly dumb with some of his answers.

Sely's questions are bad. Too general and there's no right answer. There is definitely a wrong answer though. The problem with such a question is that it invites vague answers. Yet if someone does answer her more specificly it could easily give clues. She's also juuust coasting through with her answers. Like I said there is one particular post of hers I really really like but I am trying not to be emotionally attached here. She is the spy by elimination everyone else is more obvious as town.

The benefit is town consensus is a strong indicator. Wisdom of crowds and all that. While yes there isn't just one person that everyone agrees is the spy, more questions and answers will not give us a definite answer while giving more clues to spy. Especially if we agreed. Like if an answer or questions makes some of us go "okay it's definitely X" spy would have an easier time narrowing it down and he could easily guess before everyone has a chance to vote.

So no I think if we haven't agreed by now we just won't agree without exposing our location. So whataver wagon is winning we go with that.

If people confirm they're keeping their votes on aro that's already 4 people and I'll sheep. I assume Katy is so that's 1 vote on NM

Adding a deadline balances the game. Otherwise spy is screwed.

I think it should be deadline and if it is reached everyone is forced to vote without further questions. If they lynch spy they win. If they lynch wrong spy gets a guess.

While the game is going on voting and lynching can happen at any time and the spy can guess too. If during the game they lynch wrong spy wins without having to guess.

Fwiw : first answer from TW, Selynee, and Aronis couldn't come from spy.. too lucky if it is considering game had just started. That's why I was so reluctant to lynch those 3 so strongly early on.

Also katy could have picked snake or croc (cr sound) and I would have townread her. I tried to add as many relevant animals to other locations as I could. After this her vague answers I could stretch to fit the location and I didn't suspect her

I thought NM was thinking about cemetery so I wanted to vote quickly before he made the jump to crypt. That's what I tried to imply but also tried to confuse him with the martian.

The best town answers give an obvious clue you know but also force you to think about random locations. We were lacking in these too many of our answers were somewhat vague which meant they'd be suspicious and they would not manipulate the spy into guessing incorrectly.
