The Queen whispers hurriedly to The King, in a hidden room inside the castle. They can hear various townspeople walking around on the other side of the wall. Distracted, the Queen brushes away a few cobwebs with her candle, and the spider keeping watch over the area tries to scurry away. Its legs squirm in death from the pressure of the Queen’s left hand moments later.

With a meaningful glance, the two make eye contact. “This should go quite well,” he chuckles, to be answered with a quick kiss on the cheek. “Let us not be late. We can’t be absent at a time like this.”

They slip back into the hallway while nobody is watching, blowing out the candle and joining in with the rest of the town while filing towards the courtyard. They take their respective positions, silently splitting up in the crowd so as not to be associated with each other too easily. It is eventually decided that IH needs to be the next to go.

The town has a horrible feeling of déjà vu, as IH is led to the gallows.

IH, Peasant, Townie, has been lynched!

It is now
Night Four
. Deadline is Thursday, March 14, at 11:59 pm PST. Those who do not send in night choices will be considered to have not made a choice at all.

There is a glint of steel in a dark room, beneath the catacombs of Castle Jellugi. The hurried breaths of a man with ragged hair carrying an armful of turnips breaks the silence, followed by the shuffling of cloth as he hobbles along.

"Gotta save... gotta save... must save them..."

He tosses a few turnips over his right shoulder, panting and hobbling.

"Oh, Cardinal Ibelly, please watch over me in such dreadful of times. Blessed be these turnips which ward from evil... gotta save..." He tosses another turnip over his shoulder, but surprisingly, it does not make the sound of one thudding to the floor.

"Who goes there?" Maz Medias asks, half-turning around. And he is answered with something he did not expect. The steel glint fades away into the night like a butterfly into mist.

His body is found neatly laid out in the Courtyard. Alongside him is the unfortunate body of LuckayLuck, dressed in a pauper's attire.

Maz Medias, Religious Nut, Martyr, has been killed!
LuckayLuck, Peasant, Townie, has been killed!

Woe to those responsible!

With
15
alive, it takes
8
to lynch!

The Portcullis is down, sealing the first exit.
The Drawbridge is raised, sealing the second exit.
The Jail is occupied by Ether, who cannot be lynched today.

ARGH!

MAZ!!!! I hope that wasn't you again.

Someone once again scared me off as I investigated LuckayLuck.

Wait, LL is dead. I must have been scared off by mafia trying to kill LL?

*sigh* No idea what to do...gotta go to bed.

Enough of this nonsense. Seriously dude what gives. You investigated maz after claiming so this "scared off bit" can't be a mafia roleblocker. What aren't you telling us?

In a nutshell: voting the claimed cop is scummy.

More elaborate:
The questions are valid, but Jack doesn't explain how they relate to a vote. The assumption that Canucklehead's confusing role information is scummy is tacitly expressed, but not supported by logical reasoning.

Why would scum make a cop claim that weak? There's no need to.

Jack is assuming irrationality = scummy. Back it up.

He investigated Luckay last night and Maz night one. He got an innocent on Maz, so he's not insane. Maz was an odd choice for the scum to off, since it does tend to backup C-Head's claim.

Vote: Jack

My reasons are the same as VitaminR. No reason to vote the claimed cop at this point.

It's only WIFOM if you can illustrate what purpose claiming something that weak serves. Which is kinda what I'm asking him to do...

hmm I guess maz did say he disrupted c-head that last time. So he isn't making it up. C-head just expresses himself weird. I don't see why maz would do whatever to LL though.

Canuckle, you've been quite certain that Jack was scummy and "almost" investigated him before. Why did you pick Luckay over Jack last night?

For a while I almost thought it looked like Jack was scum causing C-head's wierd results so he could get him lynched for having no useful information, basically using the argument he just tried to use. I still think that's a valid theory, but I'm not sure enough to base a vote on it anymore, so

1. Maz blocked him Night 3.
2. LL is dead. There is no result to fake.

Point 2 has no merit, VR. They could've killed LL and then decided to claim to have investigated him, to keep from having to give us useful info. Just sayin', although having both Maz and LL die in one night makes such a gambit far less likely.

I meant that claiming to have been scared off had no point.

Essentially, the only objection to Canucklehead that leaves is the fact that he claims to have investigated LL last night. I don't think that alone is enough to warrant voting him.

Any thoughts on the sudden appearance of a second death?
I think it's pretty clear that TSS's awesomeness did alter the roles each of us recieved, and thus he's obviously pro-town. -- Save The Dragons
