Like the residents of the Island of Misfit Toys, the twelve of you have been secluded here in this dark and dreary town, away from other, more functional, mafia-fighting populaces. You've been deemed too troublesome, too weird, and too just-plain-useless to participate in the scum hunting that's taking villages around the world by storm. And so they've shipped you off here, a 'B' Ark, so to speak, of characteristics and skills. But it never occurred to anyone that the scum would be trying to get rid of their worst and their dimmest, too. So come together to do your part and try to rid your new home of scum without shooting yourself in the foot. Mix metaphors as blithely as you want. Just remember, it's not me, it's you.

Good morning. All is not well in town and clearly things are not as they seem. A quick head count turns up only nine people. Dirge, N_lich, and GreenLiquid haven't shown up at the gallows for mob behavior practice, and it's already 10:15. You decide you should probably go check on them.

GreenLiquid's house is first on the agenda, and a quick search lifts your spirits. He's lying comfortably in bed, still breathing, but totally paralyzed. Well, that's a valid excuse, I suppose, but it does mean that he won't be able to post today.

A trip to Dirge's house lifts your spirits even more. Admittedly, he's taken a shot in the back of the head, but a quick search of the premises indicates that he was a member of the Society of Assassins named Twitchy.

With you mood buoyed by that find, you are better able to process the tragedy at N_lich's home. A window is broken and N_lich is lying on the floor with a terminal head injury. It isn't clear what the weapon was, but from the size of the bruise something must have hit him pretty hard. N_lich was a Soft-Spoken Mimic.
