I actually understand the passiveness on second thought. When I wrote the post, I wondered if I should also comment on my current reads, but then I realized that I really didn't have any yet.

Then I was wondering for a minut if I should ask people to quit RVS and/or declare that I'd be voting the next person promoting it. I ended up deciding that I'd just be waiting for it to end instead. I feel like your post is actually the first one even remotedly attempting to make a point.

Buldey, can we make a truce until day 3? Best friends: neither of us suspects the other until day 3, we don't kill each other until day 3 if scum (or at least fight hard for an alternate kill if they really want to kill our slots that badly), we don't play dirty with power roles until day 3. I think it will be most to our benefit if we are both town, but if one of us is scum, I think it will work to the townie's benefit. Do you agree?

I'm not going to lie. If I was scum, I'd probably kill you before day 3. Since it's such a large game, I feel alright about not spending too much energy worrying about you the first couple of days. That's my usual approach anyway. I can only speak for one head of the hydra, though.

WIFOM is just hypothetical bullshit that has no point being in a discussion. Don't tell me what you would do, show me what you are doing. WIFOM is never town-motivated and sometimes scum-motivated. Mostly its just poor argumentation.

That was actually a nice catch that I missed. It happened with me a lot in some of my previous games: When I was scum, I had an habit to say "if I was scum, I would do X". Took me a while to notice and control myself from doing so.

Given his limited experience, I would expect scum-him to be more cautious than coming out of the blocks, pointing the finger at three people, looking for reactions etc.
