I am looking for a few people to review a Mini theme for me, as well as someone to back up mod it with me.
The mini is based around the fact that there are 4 cops in the game: Paranoid, Insane, Naive, Real. They will all know the others exist, but have no clue as to their own sanity.

- Each player only has to play one day of the game, and one night. Then their children take over. It will be small numbers of roles but a large number of players. Want someone to look over this as it will probably be my next game.

Below example shows how time may be used:
Lynch = 30 Minutes

Determining Dead Players Role = Two Hours
etc. Town will have a certain amount of time each day, and the number of players will affect the amount of time it takes to do something (Though mafia can corrupt certain activities, if they search the room with incriminating evidence would you really trust them to reveal all?)

I think that has potential Max, although I'd rather see that set-up run as mostly vanilla/normal roles. It gets too difficult to play normal mafia when you know there are some weird roles that affect mechanics. The mechanics will be fresh and exciting, and still not fully understood how to play them optimally. You don't need to introduce wacky mechanic altering roles that the vanilla players can't predict, because it makes it unnecessarily chaotic and random, and cheapens the initial interesting mechanic.
Yeah, you risk confusing all strategy if you run it the first time with a ton of time-altering power roles (and obscuring breaking strategies to avoid in future games). Start easy and add in next time, for the most part.... it does sound interesting though.

My main aim is for it to be very simple, but I intended to have the mafia with time issues at night with their discussion etc. That is really what I want checking as I don't want the town getting a hold of it. The rest can and will be made public. If any additional powers they'll be weak.
I'm looking for a reviewer and/or backup mod for a large theme based on Star Wars (original trilogy). It's going to be a ~21-23 player game with fairly normal voting/killing mechanics but potentially complex role interactions. Hi everyone, I have a mini normal game coming up quite soon. Would love to spend a couple of hours talking about balancing and refining a set-up or two I have planned. Some experience in set-up design is prefered, but I'm not overly picky. Must love cats.
Hey peeps, I'm finished with the rough draft of my first large normal.
Looking for 2-3 people to review the basic set-up for balance and to answer a few questions which require knowledge of the set-up. Should be very brief but requires that you not play the game. I also ask that you only respond if you've modded at least one large game.
