Not really WIFOM, but pointless, yes. Then again, I prefer to err on the side of caution, and since there is the POSSIBILITY that the last mafia is Godfather, we have to take that possibility into consideration.

Remember, the majority of the town lynched Xtoxm, not just Falko. Are you as interested in lynching me? I was by far the most adamant in stringing him up, and I was the one who tried hardest to convince everyone that since there is the possibility (probability in my opinion) that the last mafia is Godfather, my investigation results would be meaningless.

And, as Phily pointed out, the vig was killed instead of me, and I survived N2 even though MO flipped scum. This indicates one of three things: either mafia is stupid, I am mafia, or mafia didn't see me as a threat. I don't think the mafia is stupid, otherwise they wouldn't have aimed for Caf. I'm obviously biased concerning my own position, but I think we all agree that I'm to be trusted. Which leaves the final option of the mafia not seeing me as a threat. This is only possible if the last mafia can't be detected by investigation, and as such, the most likely role the scum has is Godfather.


All of this we've already discussed, and apparently all of which you've ignored, since you hadn't spoken a single word against it. I'm comfortable with my vote, now more than ever.

I think that, no matter it’s very probable that the last scum is Godfather, you keep investigating. Because, your kind of investigation can give us judge elements.. Your first investigation gave us the ability to catch MO, and, well, later we realize that a vague result can lead us to mislynch, I think that all of us have learned the lesson.

In the other hand, the behavior of RBT is stunning scum, compared with any of the rest.

...um...what? When there was mafia last time, I had a whole lot of guns. However, you find a dog and lynch someone? Town really shouldn't have done this. Also, the plan of shooting the Many was terrible.

However, the town's greatest blunder is on not acting on the blunder made by falko. He said he was a powerless townie, which is exactly contrary to the role PMs I sent to the townies. RBT (I think) picked up on this, but it was largely ignored. Of all the people to lynch Day 4, RBT was the worst choice.

Generally, I give props to PhilyEc for conceiving of the possibility that both M_O and IK were town. I was really surprised at this, but thought it was amazing insight. I give props to RBT (I think) who noticed falko's blunder, which went largely ignored anyway.

Overall, I feel that the game is a toss up between a few bad plays and a general misunderstanding between the townies. Falkomagno does deserve props for staying out of the limelight with two people down, and for realizing that if cater flipped town, then M_O would probably flip scum. That deserves note.

The theme of this game was more or less the M_O twin to cater relationship, who's role ended early and generally dulled out the game. I didn't expect mafia to shoot itself, but it was entertaining to see. Also, I think more than anything, this is chalked up to town blunder more than anything else, but that is just my opinion.

Upstanding citizen? A citizen=townie, so....I'm confused on that.

An anti-death miller (at least, my defintion) means that someone is not a miller in life, but when dies, flips the opposite of their scum role. So, he isn't an anti-miller throughout the game, he just flips the opposite of it.

Note above (And this is why I always check role PMs twice or thrice a night, I've changed it now), the Godfather was investigation immune. This particular thing made the mafia slightly stronger than intended, but that is okay. I still feel the town should have won this game Day 3, but that is beside the point.

In case anyone might be wondering, the Godfather's investigation flavor would have been "too clean." All the other townies had something really strange, usually dealing with pets. Investigation immune was true, but it would have been the oddest (in that sense, most normal) of all the investigation results.

I've been following along with this game off and on since magnus pointed it out to me, and I must say that I don't know who screwed this up worse, the town or the mod. Of course, now I have to point out the most glaringly obvious bad moves that were made.

Mod:
1. Handing out roles with hidden components automatically qualifies a game as a Bastard Mod game. Bastard Mod games are decidedly not qualified to be run as "normal."

2. The inclusion of death millers (and upstanding citizens) ALSO qualifies the game to be Bastardized. Think of it this way, when the town lynches someone who flips scum, and who had been INSISTING that he was town the whole time, do you think that it would EVER cross their mind that said person was actually town, and one of the dead "townies" was actually scum? If the game was advertised as a Bastard Mod, and run in the proper queue, then it's possible. As it is, that would literally be an impossible conclusion to reach, and any and all interactions based on these incorrect flips will completely screw over the town, while allowing the scum to laugh and watch the townies tear each other apart.

3. If you're putting a cop role in a normal game, you're putting a cop role in. Whaterver IK was, it wasn't a cop, and the information given in his "investigations" was far from a cop result of scum or town.

Overall, this setup featured a hideously overpowered scumteam, and a pathetically weak town. That town made it so close to winning is quite surprising, but everything fell apart as soon as role info began to come into play, which is definite evidence of a bad setup design.

Town:

1. You lynched a goddamn cop confirmed townie?! What is wrong with you people? That has to be the single worst play by an entire town that I have ever seen.

2. IK not investigating at all the final Night really screwed over the town in lylo, because, crappy as the results were, they were usable to an extent. Just because you think there must be a godfather as the remaining scum does NOT mean you waste the use of your role. I mean seriously, what if you're wrong that a guilty cant be obtained (hint: you were)?

3. How many times did magnus need to drill it into your heads before you realized that something fucked up was going on with magnus, cateraction, and IK? IK claimed to investigate magnus, who investigated scum, but then magnus FLIPPED SCUM TWIN. That means that, by default, the investigation applied, not to magnus, but to cateraction. The DEAD TOWNIE investigated as scum. That meant you were either insane, paranoid, or the mod was fucking with you, and there was no evidence AT ALL that magnus was scum before his lynch.

4. The magnus-wagon SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. Did you not notice the fact that, with only HOURS before deadline hit, magnus and xtoxm worked together to SHIFT THE ENTIRE WAGON ONTO PREVIOUSLY SAFE SCUM. Why the HELL would scum do that? Both magnus and xtoxm should have been considered confirmed town from there on.

Town played this horribly, and only came close to a win because the entire scumteam was comprised of weak players, while the town had a few strong ones.

(Disclaimer: While I do think that B_B made a pretty big mistake with this setup, I think that it's probably because he didn't try to get it reviewed, or try to work with some simpler designs to check for balance first. I consider that more overeagerness than anything. However, I make no apologies for the way my words come off regarding the town. With a very small group of exceptions, your play was horrendous.)
