Dwlee believing the claims to be true means he TMI'd Meg town in a game I just don't know if it's A or B. Feels badman I really thought Meg was scum in at least 1 of the two.In post 1188, Amy Dunne wrote:Well we obviously now know she wasn’t aligned with anyone, so can you elaborate on your Dwelee read? She obviously was trying to give the impression her role was useless to throw off scumIn post 1196, Radical Rat wrote:I can kinda get the Jester nonsense, but... As a TPR, why on Earth would you fakeclaim a DIFFERENT TPR???

If you seriously believed her jester claim, then you should have been opposed to her lim in game B. Now if you only said you thought she was 3P it would make more sense but why would anyone believing the jester claim think she was a good vote in B? This makes no sense. In post 1167, Radical Rat wrote:

And the alternative is less attractive, while a pure PR revealed is weaker, why eliminate on such a basis?
Anyone who believes the claim and votes MegAzumarill because of it vexes me.
I believe the Jester claim. I do not believe the Roleblocker claim, or at least don't believe the Town part of it. Nor do I believe it was a "joke"
So, I think Meg is scum in Game 1, and Jester in Game 2. By eliminating there, we eliminate scum in one game, and a 3P with very scary powers in another. It avoids limming a Townie in either game, which makes it seem like a rather appealing option.
However, if you thought she was 3P (but not jester) in game B, then that is actually why you should have not voting her in game B because why would you vote out someone that you think isn’t scum?-

I can see the not limming a townie argument but 3P still isn’t scum unless SK and we should be trying to find mafia. In post 1171, Lady Chloe wrote:

Well it depends. I think modifying a claim or something close to it is fine but enough people read it as fake, which it was. I’ve only seen that role in one game ever and there was a town simple rb and a scum simple rb in the same game.In post 1189, Almost50 wrote:

Ask anyone in the know and they'll tell you this isn't how I usually play as ANY alignment. But I'm sure getting there bit by bit.
Wrt to game B, fakeclaiming jester is never a good idea unless it’s an open or a semi open game where it’s known to at least possibly exist in the actual setup.
I’m not sure if claim B was even intended to be taken seriously because she had like a gazillion actions preceding the jester part of it.-

Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I don’t know much about that wrt to Meg. In ELSM, there weren’t any prs in that.In post 1192, Almost50 wrote:
That's EXACTLY the kind of thing I wanted to avoid. Like, X suspected Y for saying/doing something. They may not know it, but Y actually does this more often when they are a TPR (NOT TALKING ABOUT DWLEE IN PARTICULAR). Explaining such things during the night may tip off the Scum on particular individuals being TPRs in a particular setup. In post 1188, Amy Dunne wrote:Well we obviously now know she wasn’t aligned with anyone, so can you elaborate on your Dwelee read? A prime example is what Meg did (the fake claim), I knew she was most likely a VT in game 2 because of that weird claim (she never does that as scum here). Wasn't quite sure about game 1 but gave it a 50-50 chance she could be a PR (although I didn't expect her to be an important one).-

I don’t understand the logic for claiming simple roleblocker or jester as town.In post 1196, Radical Rat wrote:I can kinda get the Jester nonsense, but... As a TPR, why on Earth would you fakeclaim a DIFFERENT TPR???
With A, you wouldn’t want to go out of your way to put a target on your back if not absolutely necessary. With B? Just why?-

I don’t like this, it actually looks worse than a straight up naked vote. And what does the second part even mean?

It was me being annoyingly literal about your claim that you aren't aligned with anyone. You're aligned with town or scum or you are the demon lord.In post 1223, Amy Dunne wrote:
