We can wait on Bella's reads list and then you guys should go ahead and flip her.
I want to heat Bella’s final reads.

As opposed to the pure luck scenario of town!Drap doing the same?

What??
Drap says he tracked Bella to Bell. Bella claims to have visited Bell. If she flips town, how does that make Drap scum?

People sheeped my reads in Chromavalon and I have sheeped dead town Chara’s and others, so it’s not necessarily true that dead trs are ignored but a readslist from Bella would have been helpful. What I don’t understand why Bella is so chill about this? I’d be flipping out here and wanting to make sure whomever I thought was scum pay for my miselim. But her reaction really doesn’t make much sense from either alignment.

@Butter
If she's scum then she knows she's dead. Focusing on mechanical discussion is a good way to avoid creating any unnecessary associations if she's not confident in her ability to fake those under pressure. I agree that her reaction doesn't make sense from town, but I think it does make sense from scum.
Well if she’s scum then, yeah I guess it would and her buddies are probably steering clear of it. Scum is probably on her wagon regardless, I think.

You mean N2 or 3? Mafia didn’t lose anyone before D2 So maybe Math was a roleblocker? That would explain what could mean a n1 roleblock on Drap and account for him not being roleblocked on n2 or 3, unless CSF is just aesetic.

Malcolm/OTH/bbt are the slots I want to look at today at any rate.

I think DP might still be town with poor read accuracy.
If I avoided most larges, I might actually have gotten a paragon at some point but in general I majorly suck at them until late game. :/

It also doesn’t really help that me and my hydra partner have completely diametrically opposed ways of approaching this game.

It’s unlikely. Johnny was one of the leading wagons with Bella still openly advocating there plus Bella buddying up to slots actively pushing Johnny. I’m gonna go ahead and put Johnny in my town do not touch pile.
There's merit to your argument tho I'm not as sure of the conclusion

I think taly and c&g town though
I think c&g probably is as well mainly because of Ircher was pushing a blatantly obvious scum agenda in me v Titus and RCE sounds like he does in every game (town) I’ve played with him but then I really got fooled by Bella, so currently suffering from fear of continuing to look stupid complex.

Kinda feel like you should have just claimed the novice. Draw in the night kill while you have not shots left.

Make scum think they are killing a PR, but really they are just confirming your results.

But
Pooky’s caught two scum, so I kinda disagree with that. Having good reads may be more important than being an tpr.

interesting choice to go for c&g over BBT in that scenario
Not really because DNA are much easier to lim than BBT but think both are town. Math tried to get BBT limmed > him. I think all Bella defenders are town because all had extremely nuanced reasons for their extremely wrongheaded defence and I think scum either bussed or stayed relatively quiet on Bella.

That wasn’t super convincing. Math made a super weak argument for bbt and then had to leave the game.

I’m pretty sure math was looking for an out so someone could “change his mind” or he could “find” someone as town.
I also really liked his posting yesterday. I think scum doesn’t stick their neck out for Bella here in most circumstances. When a slot gets mech guiltied, they either like to be on their buddy’s wagon or try not to attract too much attention to themselves. If BBT was scum here, he put himself in a very bad position and I think he’d probably know that, which is another reason why I think he’s town.

Disagree. Both Bella and Corwin had him as solid town. Besides the sheer degree of nuance in his Bella defence read really townie to me. Just like BBT. Scum very rarely go to bat like that - especially in such a nuanced way - for a mech guiltied buddy. I stand by my solve of scum either bussing or staying relatively silent on Bella.

I also think there’s posts he made during the gladiate that looked really townie but both Bella and Corwin had him as solid town. It’s extremely rare for scum to locktown their buddies.

Why not? People will think "mafia not so stupid".

That's why i suspect ppl who tried to save Bella, because she was SO SCUMMY, i don't understand why people even bother.
I can agree post Drap guilty on her but prior to that I thought she was really townie. It’s also pretty obvious in retrospect that Bella stopped trying near the end. I just really don’t think so.

Well I have gotten wrongly sr, pushed and miselimed for had defending scum. I think scum wants to not look horrible in the extremely likely event of her flip.

Besides, what I said about both Corwin and Bella likely spewing him town.

Taly's not going to get NK'd, I think.

DP tracks Bella target him and either Bella dies or someone random dies. Shows that Bella has the ability to target someone outside of a NK. If PD dies we flip Bella. Strongarm ruins this line of play I guess but so does flipping town!Bella so... we're betting on probabilities there.

I dunno if there's a smarter scenario to play out of... town!Bella... strongarm!scum... will think about it tomorrow or I'm sure someone else can think of it in the meantime.

Garbage. We know flavor points to roles and should be taken into account. We don't know what alignment roles are so we have to consider that separately. If we ignore that we're ignoring valid information.
In post 10334, Rad wrote:Yup dp, I'm with you on this plan. Unless something else comes out that makes more strategic sense.
In post 10340, Rad wrote:Yo we already decided Juliet (bella claim) could be doc.

Did Bella steal it from a scum partner? Sure maybe.

If PD dies tonight we flip bella, 100%.

If Bella is town doc PD doesn't die. Bella dies or someone random dies.

That's the point.
In post 10349, Rad wrote:Dp 10344 is on point

We must wait.

Find other scum in meantime. Bella resolves tonight potentially with PD safe or bella as tomorrow's flip. PD safe is highest priority here and if scum decides to leave them both alone tonight, they're fucked anyway.

Wasn't too keen on Rad's progression re Bella on the vote yesterday. Very keen at first, perhaps with no hope of saving Bella if scum, but then potentially opportunistically jumped on an opportunity to save Bella after all once DP was onboard and they had some cover and weren't necessarily fighting a losing case. Would make sense if Enchant was scum too given you'd potentially have one teammate bussing while another makes the defence.
I did think that the way Rad and DP were "I like this"ing and "+1"ing and "on point"ing each other approximately 100 times felt a little off. On one hand I could believe it being Rad trying to reinforce a pocket, but it is an odd move from someone who is fairly consensus townread to throw that away for a risky attempt at delaying a partner's death for one more Day.
I don’t understand why you think it was “off”. I think it’s quite normal to agree with someone who’s mindmelding with you on something.

Oh okay I think I understand now. I’vd never seen a public coroner before this, probably why that went completely over my head.

Anyway, I think Dunn or Frogs would make more sense because of Bella track obviously.

Drap didn’t get results on CSF, so he’s extremely likely to be roleblocker. So you’re a role coroner, so maybe Bella would be good in that case?

ISOing RAD yesterday, it is true that he voted Bella and changed his mind after my post but he wasn’t early on her. Had he been on her early and then switched due to my post, I think that would probably convince me more. So I don’t think that really means all that much.

Counterpoint, you could check Bella to check Bella but I think it’s stiil probably accurate, so still probably between Dunn and Bell.

If one pr is bsing us. I believe in this order who is on the level:

You
BB
Mala

And yours and BB’s roles are completely different and I believe what BB said about Ceph. Idk, however Mala didn’t claim anything particularly shocking.

And the reason scepticism is justified is because both OtH and Mala’s cornoners specifically involve role checking, so I don’t see how that’s strange at all.

if his goal was town cohesion, DP should never have been a gladiate option, as far as I'm aware they were not a leading suspect D1.
My choice of ghost-neighbor would be dictated by whether I thought it was a rational voice I would like to have assisting me long-term, and Cephrir kinda proved himself not to be of that caliber.

@STD, Taly hasn’t posted onsite since the 20th. It isn’t acceptable to not still not prod them. I don’t want an empty slot not playing.

Especially since I’m townlocking them, we could use that slot’s input here.

Because there was a kill save that happened today, I can imagine a scenario down the line where scum fake claim the doc that saved who ever was killed today. Being able to check a dead townie that we did not learn their role before they died, feels like a useful thing to keep on hand to discourage them from trying that.
This feels more useful then checking Dunn currently.

If there is a better choice that comes up, then sure. We can look into it.

and yeah it isnt too late since i choose at night, i just claimed cuz i thought i was the only corner and thought this info would be useful to work with but guess not lol.. so everyone wants me to hold back?

i will be home soon and ill read lukes enchant case again then and think about it!!
Since you only have a one shot and really no useful targets + Luke’s point is valid, it keeps scum from getting away with fake claims.

Well realizing that Dunn probably was nk’d for softing vig and Math was heavily sr, it makes the most sense, so she probably lied about RAD. Everyone was hard tr RAD post-gladiate. She obviously did that so her reasoning for targeting Bell looked believable.

Mafia's not determined by flavor

Roles were
mostly
selected at random to determine which roles would be mafia.
This part doesn't really make sense to me so let's think it through... First - "mostly". Ok so "some" roles may have been selected specifically to be town or specifically scum. Maybe doc is just town no matter what? And we could have, say, a day-shot vig who's scum cause it was random? Along with most other roles, but maybe some are just town or just scum.

So I could see this designed as... assigning specific roles to certain flavor, then randomizing the roles that could be scum (with some roles that CANNOT be scum), and then assigning to players.

That could make a doc like Juliet *just* town.

So question for longer time players. Have you seen scum-docs before on this site?

This series of posts from prior to that is also pretty heavily focused on proving that Bella is actually Juliet and a doctor, and that makes her town. Mala claims that Bella was trueclaiming. It could be a "just asking questions" angle to try to clear Bella as town

You do know that a single player scum reading you is okay right? Lol
I do!

I also read him town and would like to hear his thoughts about those posts :)
In post 9114, Rad wrote:For some context Luke, I feel similar about both you and T-Bone as you feel about T-Bone. I'd like to get some more opinions to help round out my reads, and hey, if Bell's scum that answer could be useful as well.

It doesn't have to be me trying to convince Bell that I'm town with your and T-Bone's endorsement, ya know? :)
Pooky announcing you're both town via cop read when there's no great reason to throw that out right now just made me sus Pooky. And in the scenario where scum!Pooky does that, I try to figure out what the likely scenario is for Luke and T-Bone's alignments. Probably safe to pull in 1 scum partner there. Kinda ridiculous to pull in 2. And really safe to just announce you're cop and 2 townies are town.
Even if you were right on Pooky, it would be hella stupid for scum!him to clear two buddies, no? I also think it would make way more sense for scum!Pooky to claim the two guities as scum. I really can’t see why Pooky would ever fake clear his buddies but he might claim a gulty on one, so your theory I think is flawed. Anyway clearing two townies reads +town to me and I actually had some major paranoia on him after Bell nk.

DNA definitely town for this post alone + Bella spew as well but it’s abundantly clear that Math tried to hard drive a miselim on us and DNA nipped it in the bud.

Lololol this is too funny after all so many of my reads have been stellar.

I will re-ISO him but I really think Bella probably visited Math on n1, so gth her RAD visit claim read to me as an attempt to justify Bell visit, so if you think extremely likely that Bella visited Math on n1 and not RAD - and seriously why would Bella heal RAD when he was being extremely hard tr after his posts during gladiate on d1, so scum likely realized Dunn softed vig and therefore it makes the most sense that Bella lied about visiting RAD on n1 and most likely healed Math since he’s rb. Corwin practically locktowned RAD. So without an extensive re-ISOing of RAD, I think it would be weird for Bella to lie about visiting her buddy if he’s scum but I only really trust my reads on certain players and being so wrong on Bella made me doubt how much I can trust some of my reads.

OtH, Taly, Drap, masons, you, BB and now DNA due to that paraphrase are the reads I feel extremely confident on rn. Iow, I would hard veto wagons on them. Other slots, I would have to take into account my own solve + listen to what others are saying.

So will reread RAD tomorrow.

Because this was actually my theory and Math eventually backed off of me, I definitely believe this. Math backed off of us to get tr by DNA. He had no choice, he had to keep DNA haapy.
