and what technology out there works the same as a lightsaber and is that small/easy to use?
Then what? Novelty wears off fast. And normal knives, for starters.
what knives are you using???
normal knives don't cut through (almost) everything with ease

They're still good enough for anything that you'd want to cut on a regular basis though.

Though in hindsight, I guess I was thinking of the use of lightsabers slightly incorrectly. They wouldn't even be capable of cutting something without completely destroying it. So I guess there really isn't a substitute for one in demolition projects or for breaking and entering. Still though, that's still only useful for people who actually make a living doing either of those things.

they could cut large stuff w/o completely ruining it. obviously you don't want to substitute a lightsaber for a kitchen knife though
see like just imagine how easy it could make somebody who cuts down tress job. You wouldn't need any heavy machinery or anything, just take your lightweight small lightsaber and you can slice them down at a really quick rate

Okay fine, but that still boils down to having a specific job. I'll settle with saying I personally wouldn't have a use for one, and that for a question like that I think it would make more sense to go for something that would dramatically change the way we see the world rather than go for something just because it's easier to handle.

I am surprised artificial wombs aren't more popular. You have the foetus transferred early in the pregnancy, perhaps as soon as you become aware of it, then once it's ready to be a baby, you decant it. No childbirth pains or discomfort. No being sick for nine months, no strangers patting your belly and answering intrusive questions.
The failure mode of clever is asshole.

Irrelevant Players

StrangerCoug (38) - Tennis, volleyball, soccer

Scores

We had three perfect scores excluding me, coming from mallowgeno, Radja, and xofelf! Their prize is 38 points :D
I'm sure tomboys like sports, but that unfortunately doesn't help D3f3nd3r, who gets only 9 points and the lowest score of the question.

D3f3nd3r drops to Level 1.

I forgot the Irrelevant Players section last question, that has been edited into the reveal in .

Retiring from LSG's and Mish Mash, for the most part. If you want to contact me, I suggest going outside and enjoying what the world has to offer, instead.

Scores

Guess what, guys? Every who submitted answered the exact same thing. The good news is that you all get credit for a perfect score due to a technicality in the rules, the bad news is the same rules technicality means you all drop a level

Assemblerotws falls to Level 2.
D3f3nd3r falls to Level 2.
Save The Dragons falls to Level 2.
Felissan falls to Level 4.
RedCoyote failed to submit and therefore gets an activity strike and falls to Level 1.*
Everyone else just plain falls to Level 1. I'm too lazy to type out everyone else's names.

* I know he lives in an area affected by severe flooding and power outages. I'm willing to discuss the fairest way to deal with this situation.
