Yeah, well, it was my bad. I give up in frustration far too often. I should have just kept pushing you. I think when I gave up on getting you lynched ever, my scum read on you faded and I started looking really scummy. You played a good game, it's becoming more and more obvious to me as this happens in game after game that I need to stop giving up on my reads.

I found it really impressive how although there was some suspicion on the scum slots at the beginning of Day 1, they managed to completely turn that around. Neither aphix nor Dierfire looked anywhere close to getting lynched on Days 2/3.

Eagle, if you're still sure about whoever you're scumreading but are having difficulty persuading people, I find it helpful to try restating your case in different ways.

ika, I think this would have been a difficult game to first time IC due the number of replacements (and the fact that these were mostly from the newbie slots). But like aphix said, apart from the activity dropping off, I think you did an okay job.

wow, i was completely off! things to keep in mind for my next game, i guess.
aphix, Dierfire, you know i didn't suspect the two of you at all. really impressive work there. (in a selfish kind of way i'm really glad aphix was scum, but i really thought he was town!)

i don't know about the rest of you (i know Karnage didn't) but i really enjoyed the game. but if it wasn't as fun as some others, i guess that means that's more to look forward to?

I think I sent a massage to insanity about my method for replacing out from my games. It was totally random and completly unrelated to my alignment. for example I replaced out from word sneak and another game which I were town in at the same time. And I was really busy then , Really Busy!

Of course I cooled down. It was a requirement. It often happens when it comes down to the line. Normally it happens naturally. But aside from something I feel specific about, and the shock bit which got out of hand, most of it was actually planned out. Certain words added in to make it look like I was actually upset about things. I'm just in general an awful person. I think you rated my personality too high.

You butted heads, but never went for the throat. That requires an astounding amount of self-control, especially considering what position you were in for most of the game.

Smithereens dropped a crumb. I pretended it didn't exist while I was in the game. It was obvious that aphix saw the crumb or at least the PR tells, because his scumread reversed dramatically.

I couldn't decide if he was scum or town, because a town player recognizing that kind of crumb will usually back off and leave the player alone, too.

I felt there was a good chance they were responding to my crumb. It's when they changed reads on me that most likely came from a PR.

Well, I guess "good chance" was actually too much. I already mentioned a long time back in the mafia thread that even if you were cop/tracker that you probably wouldn't have seen it. I wasn't the only one that thought your slot might be the PR ... That whole thing was a weird exchange. I'm still curious why the rest of the people replacing into the slot weren't concerned by it, and continued with the town read of me.

The massive Smithereens/aphix argument Day 1 was unfortunate for town I think. Not just because it made the scumteam pretty sure that the slot was a PR but because of the way it drowned everyone else out. I think it contributed to town apathy and the replacement flood, that was ultimately difficult for town to recover from.

Even though I <3 all the replacements!
