charter is claiming cop who has a guilty on denisatp and had an innocent on smashbard, mastin and angrypidgeon. he also claims to have been neighbors with thor but the topic never opened because thor was lynched d1.

denisatp says that he is the miller and that he didnt claim because he figured that the investigate role (gunsmith) was dead

i believe charter for a large multitude of reasons but that's pretty much all you need to know, Cooldog.

Lets break this down. There are only a few reasons why you wouldn't claim miller on your first post:

1) outside information (for example, I'm also a mason with someone who says not to claim)
2) doesn't know convention (Baby's firs miller game. Which couldn't happen here because denis knows about the convention)
3) not really a miller and just thought of the claim later (what is happening now)

The setup was pretty unique, I must say.

GF and Cop in a neighborhood.
GS and Cop in a same game. Taht could have been disastrous if the game panned out differently and the GS claimed a guilty on the cop.

Why not charter?
Well, believe it or not...I trust Cooldog to be more competent than charter.

YEAH, I KNOW. Send a copy of that statement to the dead and spectator QTs so they can laugh.

But really, I just got a gut feeling, that Cooldog is more of a threat than charter is to the scum.
Furthermore, Cooldog is more confirmed town than charter is. Charter's still confirmed town, but there's a certain level of doubt, albeit incredibly small.

On Cooldog, there is none.
Plus, if the scum think I'm a protective role, they're probably more inclined to think I'll protect charter, anyway, so they're more likely to go for Cooldog.

In a sense...well, for me, the choice is between a player who has been reliable and predictable (charter) versus a player who has been unreliable and unpredictable (Cooldog)--and in that situation, it's actually far more common for the scum to kill the unreliable player, as the AP kill shows. As scum, you don't want a wildcard. Cooldog is a wildcard.

So, thinking like scum, Cooldog's a better protection.

Also, it is doing the opposite of what Smashbard said. Smash predicted either charter or myself as dead. The scum, if they've caught on to me being a BG that they think they can mislynch, will be more inclined to do the opposite of what Smashbard said, 'cause they know that I trust dead town players.


...Yeaaaaaah, this is probably the worst logic ever for a protection, but if I'm right, well, who am I to complain if it's for all the wrong reasons?

I figured that I was mislynch fodder if I didn't get myself killed, and I figured I'd have a better chance of getting killed by targeting Cooldog.
