I don't know flippy that well; I know that the worst likes making interesting entrances and pushing to create content as town and I know that he hasn't done that here whatsoever. I also know that he doesn't exactly feel comfortable playing scum and tends to freeze sometimes especially with good playerlists/people that know him well.

It's not just the lurking, there's meta behind it to back up that this is indicative of tw-scum.

Especially this far into a game. Town-him would have a blast with this playerlist but he hasn't even shown up yet even though he's been active elsewhere on site.

For reference: the worst is probably my best friend on this website. I love him to death. I've called him scum incorrectly in the past but he's always shown up and towned it up when that's happened. It hasn't happened here.

You don't get it. It's not just those things, it's also scummy as hell to try and act as if you're confirmed town on the very first page. It's unbelievably scummy to do so while admitting you were wrong and that being wrong says you're still somehow confirmed town. It's cosmically scummy to turn around and defend scummy behavior with "but you did it too." That is a remarkably weak defense for a remarkably scummy action.

I believe you when you say you won't do it again. That I believe. I believe you when you say you didn't realize how gamey it was. But I don't believe you had a townmotivation for doing it.

I'm not pushing this wagon to punish you for making a mockery of site rules--- I'm doing it because my wincon requires me to punish the scum, and your behavior thus far makes you a prime candidate. You are not a martyr nor an example here: you're just some poor schmo who was unlucky enough to draw scum against me and who thought he could get conftown points off the bat.

No. There are brash, brazen actions that heavily indicate scum. And though I have no remedy for what I do believe to be an attempt to game the system, I absolutely have a remedy for scummy behavior from brazen scum: five feet of rope with a loop at the end.
