What might be mod info is I am incredibly surprised by how town read black was this game.

They were present and reasonable but if you read the ISO they didn't really...Do...anything?

There really weren't any strong convictions or any pushes of note, main thread contributions were just admonishing town for rushing things which is something mafia love to do.

In post 1924, Thestatusquo wrote: It's not.

Only innocent on patch causes an incredibly strong town read on patch. Guilty on kawaii does not cause that. You were purposefully ignoring information because you didn't want to be wrong on patch.

And again, I reiterate: In both worlds voting patch is wrong. If you think theres a guilty on kawaii why are you voting patch? If there's an innocent on patch why are you voting patch? Even if I buy your worldview that it could be a guilty on kawaii the play doesn't make much sense.

(kawaii why are you SO bad at quotes lmao)
The turnaround on patchwork was of equal strength to the scumread on Kawaii, which also came out of nowhere.

And as I already said, I wasn't sure that Dionysus was Cop on D2, so I stuck to my own (bad) read.

I think you're ignoring how Dionysus played to try and justify how obvious everything was to you, the mod.

I was convinced Black was town until D3, that's when I believed she was mafia, but too late at that point
Idk how mafia plays in this site meta but realizing Black is mafia D3 was an epiphany

Furtive I don't know how to say when a player who was hard scum reading someone then turns around and is like "I thought about it more and I now hard town read them" thats a cop claim. It just is. Shrug.

I enjoyed this game a lot and I really enjoyed the people in it even though I had to lie to you all

I feel like town definitely helped us win but I want to give props to BBT for being the scummiest person I've ever played with and people just letting him get away with it lol. I guess that's just his playstyle though. Great game from BBT imo. Shea mentioned me not really doing anything but BBT played the ultimate do-nothing game and for the most part flew under the radar

Bewolkt...I DID feel bad about killing you btw. You just seemed too good to keep around. And you were towny af. Still though... I'm sorry :(

GGs all!

So? People do new pushes all the time without having guilties. They don't usually flip their hard scum read to town after the counter wagon flips town.

I'm brand new to this meta too but somehow I am 2-0 so far lol. I just won my first game last night and I was wolf there too.

Maybe next game I will help the town win?

Idk what else to say...what do you think Dionysus would have done if he had a guilty on Kawaii but didn't want to claim it? Yeah, push Kawaii.

Yep. I agree.

But you're ignoring the part where he wouldn't suddenly be hard town reading patch.

He could have just re-evaluated...in the same way that he re-evaluated Kawaii overnight.

I'm going to keep arguing this because it's very simple - he had 2 new reads, 1 scum 1 town.

My argument isn't that in a vacuum your read that a guilty on kawaii could have existed was bad, my argument was that you were ignoring significant information to only focus on the push because it didn't fit with your world view, and in that context the read is bad.

Well then we agree that I was bad.

Dionysus didn't express his check clearly though, and you only think so because you knew what it was.

Your feedback is just telling me that what I know now was obvious if you knew...it feels like you just want to put the boot in.

I can see now that I had a bad read on the situation, but there were clearly 2 possible worlds at the time.

The follow up is as you play against more experienced players they're going to pick up on the underlying things you're advancing rather than just that you sound superficially townie, so if I were to come up with one thing you could work on improving from this game it would be trying to have more concrete scum and town reads and take more stances.

Actively be looking for things to scum read and push, it's easiest if you can find things you think you would naturally scum read as town.

also like furtive? it's okay that you fucked up. your take was kinda bad, but we all mess up sometimes. i guess you should just take this game into consideration and just like... not do that again, i guess. and tunnel less, because that can be antitown in its own way.

i mean i wasn't really doing much in the early pages but then when i did actually try to contribute i got more shade for it because i was "trying to get towncred" or sumn like
i feel like folks this game were mad at me for being reactive, or defending myself, but then when i gave up on defending myself and moved on they scumread me even more
