Of course I don't want to slip up! I don't want to be lynched!

I know that when someone is under pressure, every word that they say is scrutinized. So I'm trying to keep my posts short, so that you guys don't read scumminess where it doesn't exist.

If it helps, my role PM said that I had to rely on my brains rather than any special abilities.

Which sucks.

I think the best play here is to lynch him. At best we lynch a scum, and at worst we lose a townie and haven't exposed any useful roles in the process.

I wish I felt like he was scum though.

Rite's right about one thing. His role PM does say that...almost word for word. I hate to have to do this.

Final Vote Count:

rite (5): mole, Candice, MeMe, pwnz, NanookTheWolf
Candice (2): Internet Stranger, rite
MMCL (1): Talitha

Not voting: MMCL, jediknight, Stewie

The accusations fly, and Rite is quickly turned on for his willingness to just string
anyone
up. "But I shamelessly lynch people!" he says. "I'm still on your side! In fact, I own this ferry!"

"Yeah, right. The ferry captain got stabbed yesterday when we got here."

"The
owner
, not the
captain
. And I can prove it too. The mod told me all these things about using my brain, and..."

But with that, Rite broke the fourth wall, and things for him would never be the same. A lightning bolt arcs down from the clear, cloudless sky to strike him dead.

Looking through his pockets, you find ownership papers for the ferry and a little diary. The newest entry, from last night, starts, "Ship has been hijacked by mafia killers. I'm very worried about my life, and the future welfare of my business once this gets out..."

Rite (Ferry Owner) has been mod-bolted.

Please get your night choices in by Wednesday, Oct. 27 at midnight Eastern Time.

With the bar now open for business (Save The Dragons hadn't had a chance to lock it back up), you settle down for a nice dinner with a few drinks to take your minds off the situation you're in. Nobody's loose-lipped enough to admit to being a killer, of course, but mole does speak on eloquently about what a world of moles would look like, without all these nasty killings and lynches. As the cooking fire dies, you slowly slip off to your various sleeping locations, hoping to hide from the mafia for another night.

The morning is beautiful, but gives you the strangest impression of deja vu. Another body is found on the beach reeking of alcohol, dragged there from the bar after being stabbed. This time, the body is that of mole. Alas, his dream of a world of moles has been cut short.

Now, what would that world have looked like? Looking through his bags is most interesting. Your first discovery is a series of Nigerian 416 scam printouts, with added notes down the sideline about how amateurish they are. You also find a very professional pool cue, and several books, including
The Ryes and Wherefores of Bartending
,
Open Heart Surgery in Ten Easy Steps
, and
How to Out-Police the Police
. It looks like mole was quite the con artist...and that he was ready to step into any role that could have helped.

mole, Con Artist (Universal Backup), killed Night 2.

With 9 alive, it will take 5 to lynch.

I have so many other things I want to try out, but I have to stick with Candice until she is lynched or killed.

Vote: Candice

Did I miss something? ... Or is everyone starting to feel the need to vote for Pwnz ... ?

To bad about the con-artist though, I love it when I get a role like that ... anyways, if there be reason behind the sudden Pwnz votes, I'd be more then happy to jump on as well ...

Don't mind the green, just testing out something is all ...

Sorry - didn't mean to be confusing. I jumped to a quick conclusion but realized that I could be interpreting it backward.

I like my pwnz vote... but I'm also interested in resolving this IS-Candice thing.

IS.. you "have to stick with Candice until she is lynched or killed" ..
Is this some kind of voting restriction?
Or something else?
Are you willing to put your your neck on the line tomorrow if she isn't scum?
Or is it just an itch that you're scratching?

Heh.. Nanook.. I'm sure that you'd be quite happy indeed to jump up on a pwnz vote after I bitched you out.. but keep your head on straight. We're after scum.. not after grudges.

Who the f*ck would kill mole? He didn't say anything that screamed out "Cop" or "Doc." In fact, he didn't say much at all. I don't know what to think. Why would mafia pick on a lurker? They are usually easier to pick on.

Someone has any ideas on this?

IS: So you're content for your vote to be completely ineffective, just sitting there all lonely on Candice, and you're actively warning people that we probably shouldn't follow you, or we might end up like rite. Hmm.
I could be wrong but you're smelling like a quarter tosser to me.

Stewie: Why not mole? Who would you have killed last night, if you were mafia?

I only warn because of the irrational behavior of others, not mine. If I dont go after Candice, I would just be betraying my own natural intuitions.

Does anyone else question Stewie's post of 211. I can fully see why a mafia would target someone lurking... Mole didn't point any fingers so we have nothing to go on as far as he's concerned.

That paints Stewie most scummy in my eyes. In other words "he protests too much" for my taste.

fos: stewie
for the simple fact that I want to hear what others think.

As for Candace and IS...I don't get the scummy vibe at all from either of them at this point. But Pwnz begs discussion...
And I'm spent...

It's better for mafia to point at someone that point many fingers. This way, we would be even more confused. Is someone who was attacked by this person mafia, and he or she wanted to get rid of him or her, or did the mafia just kill him or her to make us think that it was someone attacked by this person that killed him or her, when in reality this person did not attack anyone in the mafia?

Talitha, if I answer your question, this person might be killed tomorrow night. And we don't want that, right?

Well...you're gonna get a half @ssed answer. I've got a fever of 103 (not the song btw) and I'm not going to go into post by post points.

Pwnz for the first six pages posted just enough to fly under the radar. He had numerous one sentence posts and usually it was to vote for one bandwagon or another. He said that he doesn't like bandwagoning for claims (post 66) and yet he was one of the prime forces in pushing rite to claim.

He contradicts himself several times in the nine pages and seems to be opportunistic when he does so. Someone with a lower temperature and more time can do the research but that's my answer. Thanks for asking MeMe! :D
And I'm spent...

Wrong answer.

vote: jediknight
for trying to join in the pwnz fun without understanding it. And for not actually voting pwnz (or anyone so far in the game). And for giving a reason which focuses on suspicious activity yesterday...though jedi said nothing when this "flying under the radar" activity was occurring.
