If we're making the reasonable assumption that Luka and I are both town then I kinda think I should die today for a few reasons
I have a relatively useless PR given our current situation and I think my day play also extracts most of its value today
If scum want to play the 'Luka is an absolute mastermind' gambit and keep them alive then that's kinda fine and probably helps us regardless of the truth

I could see it happening in a world where Luka believes with confidence that he can post himself out of being limmed vs. you, which is possible given that he has a very high opinion of his scumgame. I think it's unlikely though.

Why would Luka be put on trial though? He didn't seem particularly charismatic nor did he have much thread influence so I'm guessing it could have been out of fear. I played a scumgame recently in which despite the fact that MariaR was trolling for several days and doing nothing, I was always afraid that she might suddenly go and post a lot and take away my control of the thread and I toyed with the idea of nightkilling her at one point.

Ok, so, the only way to escape this situation is if either of you is Cid. From what i read in post 1 as long as Cid is in Civilian form they wont be fully eliminated when eliminated and can return afterwards. I dont see any other way of avoiding an elimination.
I think the idea is that scum doubted they could get either of us eliminated under normal circumstances and thought we were long term threats and thought this was a good way to gain an extra mislim they wouldn't otherwise

So assumption #1: This is a scum factional ability and they had to choose 1 scum as one of the players.
assumption #2: Cid mistakenly gave a power to scum Gamma and that's what Gamma got.
