And so it ended. Lotuspirate was on patrol duty that night, when two people appeared in the darkness.

"Who's there?"He called.

His answer was a sword through his gut. With King IAUN' guard dead, Skruffs and CoheedCambria09 sneak in and behead IAUN. A new day has dawn, and the new kings have been crowded.

The Rebellion(CoheedCambria09, Skruffs, Wall-E, Crazy, thunda, empking, charter, CitizenKarne, KMD4390) have won Corruption On the Throne.

The Throne(iamausername, lotuspirate, Westbrook_Owns_U) have lost Corruption on the Throne.

Thank you all for playing.

As I said before, this was a highly experimental based on one idea: what if scum controlled the nightkill. From there, it slowly progressed until, well, I'm not sure which side is the informed minority anymore...

I do plan on running this setup again(most likely in Scumchat, or during the next Marathon Day), and I want to know everyone's comments on the setup. Anything you would change? Any balance problems you see?

Finally, I must plug Serum & Steel--part one of my Magic the Gathering-based trilogy of mafia games.

Thank you for sticking through the game, and see you next time. As always, I am grateful for criticism.

Woot Woot

Epic Fail for The Throne.

I liked the setup. I think it worked well. It is kinda random for the king in the first few days though because the posting isnt very high. I had fun though.

Damn, I almost went for Coheed as well. Had Crazy down as a peasant, because he was trying way too hard to look like a rev, but I just wasn't sure between the other two.

I obviously wasn't going to touch Skruffs or lotus, since clearly, one was a guard, and the other was a rev. If I picked wrong, I kill my guard and lose. If I pick right, I've still got to figure out who the second rev is, and I probably wasn't going to get any more clues than I already had.

On the other hand, if I'd hit Coheed, Skruffs would have to kill lotus before he could win, and at that point, I'd know for sure that he was the last rev, and get an easy win.

I really like this setup, and I'd love to play it again right from the start sometime.

I thought it was a fun game. I really didn't know what to do other than try to attract the king's kill like a lightning rod. Good work Revs! I'd say you guys did most of the work for us.

Good game all! Thanks for hosting Nat!

I wanted to be killed because I was a peasant. We want peasants dying because that keeps the revolutionaries alive. They can go after the guards that way, and we win.

Nat, thanks for the game. I liked the setup. I could actually link you to something a little similar on another site. It hasn't started yet because we still need a player, but it sounds similar. There isn't a king killing during the day, but there are no lynches, and no votes. Everything happens at night.

Anyway, good game all! This was fun.

That was a pretty cool game.

Skruffs, why'd you kill Westbrook?

Yes, I picked peasants to kill and Coheed picked scum. :)
I think Crazy "sort" of did the best job as a peasant pretending to be the revolutionary. Thunda almost got shot instead of westbrook but he was way too obvious a lynch target to really be NK'd.

I was really hoping we could convince the king to lynch his guard. :)

Skruffs; If he did such a good job why wasn't he lynched?

THUNDA and I came up with the best pro-town tactic: Annoy the king into decoy-lynching us.

WE ROCK

*high fives*

Good game everyone. Thanks Nat!!

That game was quite interesting and I am unsure of what to say at this point in time regarding the actual skill level needed to play. It seems almost like guessing to me, unfortunately.
Games are slowing. No one wants to hammer for fear of a mislynch. MS needs a savior. They look for Rosso to save them, but alas! he is nowhere to be found. So one man will step up and take his mantle. Fear not MS, the hammer cometh!

Nice game, I am wondering though - before my page 9 posts did you think I was the guard, Skruffs/Coheed?

Also I am surprised that it was Coheed and not Crazy, I was pretty sure (but I did say that Coheed was a possibility in my post - I am not sure why Iamausername didn't take him out instead when I clearly noted Empking as a Peasant [I suppose this means he believed you, Skruffs]).

Well.... All mafia games require guessng. Seers/cops help eliminate guessing, but evrything else is just hopeful guessing
