What with it not being real money, there shouldn't be any more legal implications than there are for all the fake killings that go on here. And since the only viable money transfers will be going through the bank (in this case, Alexander), the sale of information would be an infeasible transaction without his complicity (to 'transfer' the money). I don't get the impression he'd do that.

There is a problem with such strategy:
You don't get to participate at all in any bets until your first bet is resolved. So, if your goal is to play as much as possible, you'd better split into several smaller bets.
